Not necessary for spooky season, but I mixed Lavender Embers with some Moonflower Nectar. I mixed Midnight Blackberry with Wassail, and called it Midnight Sangria.
Lavender Embers is that girl, mysterious and smokey. Got me good right out of the bottle! I have been playing with Blood Orange mixed with it along with Golden Santal 👀
LOVE you ladies and these Mystery Blending videos. So fun! Thinking about other spooky, autumnal scents... what would be good blends with Dragon's Blood, Library, Leather, Suede & Smoke, Amber Noir or Egyptian Amber? And although Love Spell is definitely more floral, it's a great name for the season so maybe there's something to blend with it to bring down the sweetness? Thanks for keeping my candles interesting!
I love you two together ESPECIALLY with Halloween content!!! Please do more videos, I’m n crazy costumes, walking around asking other staff about their favorite Halloween blends. I just got my sample of moonflower nectar!!!! And paired it with velvet vanilla…..oh boy Wireback Candle Co. Jojo
Ahh great ideas! I'll need to see how much room we have in the budget for costumes, I can move some things around 😂 There is definitely more blending content planned but if you'd like to see something in particular, let us know!
I have been playing with Dragon's Blood, Petrichor, and sometimes add a touch of Cinnamon Stick. You have to play around with the amounts to get it right (like just a small amount of Cinnamon Stick). I just got the Smokey Oud I want to try with this blend next. Oh I call the blend Dagon's Breath.
My favorite YT duo! Also 💯 agree on the smokey scents, they are so beautiful and fun to blend/work with. I tried Smoked Oud with Santal and Coconut and it is AWESOME!! Highly recommend thanks ladies!
I've been blending different apple fragrances to come up with a good poisoned apple. My favorite so far is caramel apple and cashmere plum. I think it is going to sell well.
I love me some Black Currant Absinthe! The last time I used it, I mixed it with a FO called Ghost Train & called my soap, "Little Green Fairies." Very appropriate!
Did you buy the Ghost Train from a company whose name starts with Az? That one has a cinnamon chewing gum smell I didn't like. Shame cause it has an interesting mysterious smell otherwise.
Mixed Clean Cotton with Love Spell and loved the results, but I think Midnight Blackberry would be a great addition to the subtle fruity notes already in abundance. Maybe I'll call it Midnight Bramble, a nice powdery and musky fruity floral.

Midnight Sangria is the PERFECT name for that blend!
Great videos ladies. Love you girls together. More blending videos please.
Can do!

I have yet to find a Blood Orange blend I am thrilled with, I'll have to check this out 👀
@@candlescience it was amazing in a test I did! Golden Santal and Lavender Embers was also 👌🏻*chefs kiss*

Smoked Oud and Mountain Mist are underrated blenders!!! I blended those with Frosted Juniper and oh boy it is one of my new favorites.
I'll be honest, I did not think Frosted Juniper could be improved. I'll have to try these!

Santal and Coconut just might be my favorite coconut scent out of the coconut scents we currently carry, and there are quite a few 😅
SAME@@candlescience
I blended it with sage & cypress...creep vibes all day!!!
Petrichor is so amazing! Super great to mix with. Autumn glow for me smelled like some banana nut bread or pastry.
Always great to meet another Petrichor fan! I'm going to have to smell Autumn Glow again because I feel like that makes sense 😅

This sounds amazing, I'll have to grab some blotter strips!

Also, I loved the idea of Petrichor and Sea Mist. You were talking about literary references, and Wuthering Heights would be the perfect name.
This was so fun to watch and inspirational. I am sitting on my hands not to buy all of the fragraces!
Same. I was about to 🏃🏾♀️ to the site. I have to contain myself lol
Love CS but came here expecting to get some recipes that you guys have labbed. Still a fun video, would love to see the shop in person someday.
I just blended embers with wassail. Very nice
Wassail is one of my favorite holiday scents, I'll have to try this out!
Fun but please remember us soapers!
Hopefully we will have updated soap notes for all of the fragrances soon! 🤞
Lavender Embers I was very disappointed with and no I don’t mean out of the bottle. In cold process soap it smelled like smoked meat.
OMG. I keep expecting Alec Baldwin to walk in
😂😂
😂 Yes!
