Undyne vs. Flandre sounds like a "just for fun" neat idea. A fight like that definitely shouldn't be all too serious, it can end with both of them respecting each other, regardless of who wins, kind of like how Asriel vs. Marisa went.
They'd fight for fun and for a challenge. I can see undyne help flandre control her destruction powers better

@@davidlewis6728no. She dont have control of it. She destroy bc of emotions. If something distrib her, she see some kind of eyes on this. And if she want, this eyes will cause destruction. Btw she doesn't need think about destroying. If she have deadly enemy, vampire instincts create and destroy this eyes not even in nano-seconds, thats why if you want kill her, you wouldn't even notice, how was wiped out of reality

I lost it when Undyne and Flan started going all out in flashy yet intense bullet hell galore as the sdm crumble from the explosion byproduct and Remi crying knowing she hasn't paid three previous rebuilding loan fully yet.
Aside that the cameo to your previous animation are executed pretty well, makes the entire thing feels connected. Good job! 👍👍

I questioned the matchup choice until I realized that it’s a reference to that official music collab with Toby and ZUN. Not having another fight scene is a shame because I really loved the previous ones. You definitely know how to script and animate an interesting and fun fight scene, that’s mainly the reason why I would be interested in seeing another fight scene made by you. But ultimately, it’s your choice and I can’t argue with that, so I’ll respect that.

They look so happy to be dueling each other, sort of like how the crossover arrange sounds happy to be made.
That little fight scene was epic too, encapsulating perfectly what I expect from the entire fight, totally!
Yeah, makes sense- People in Touhou seem to view battle as playing, makes sense because of spellcard rules, and Undyne is always generally happy for a fight.
I'm sure Flan will win, but the fight will still be epic and cool, and I hope to see the collab songs be used here because y'know... the inspiration for this.

Man, I just want to see undyne in an animation. (And seeing her in a high quality animation made by a talented animator is a completly different thing on it's own). She doesn't get any attention, let alone as much as she deserves. Its been like forever since i saw her in a fan project. I would cry tears of joy if this were to actually happen one day.
Honestly, even this trailer (real or not) alone is enough to make me happy
But at the end of the day, its up to you if you want to do it or not and we all completely understand if you don't.

I honestly think it's fine to do it. I understand some initial hesitation, considering how the first Undertale vs Touhou animation went, but I think it's safe to say we've all matured a bit, and that brief spat between fandoms is water under the bridge. However, that's just that aspect of why I think there might be some hesitancy, ultimately it's up to you on if you'd want to do it, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not hyped to so see the evolution of your animation even more.

Looking at their expressions, i dont think this one is anything resembling a fight to the death: just an ordinary duel for fun. (and as a reminder, Canon Flan does have full control over her destruction. kind hard for her not to when she has to use it in a rather specific way)

I feel Touhou has been around for long enough for its fans to have grown up and understood that Undertale isn't a foe, but a friend; Toby Fox is one of us Touhou fans

I would really love to see this become an actual thing but only do what you know you can. Either way the short bit that was animated was REALLY well made and shows how much you've improved over the years!

That fight scene with the pngs was unironically pretty good
There's something about that little bow and rhe way it's animated is so nice and is such a nice character moment for both of them, laying down their weapons just for a moment to give their opponent a proper greeting.
Better to end it off with something like them both accepting each other. But other than that I would love to see it
