Sir please stop being a womanface sexist and cope/accept your biological self you will never alter chromosomes... we men will always have the X Y in our bodies. just so you know it doesn't make me any different as a man that collects all the LEGO Elves sets
It looks like the Willy Wonka set is a combination of The 1971 movie, 2005 movie, and the Broadway Musical. We get Wonka and The Oompa Loompas from '71, the Chocolate Room design of '05, and the Golden Ticket Winners' outfits are taken from the Musical. We're getting the best of all 3 adaptations.
I imagine the Wonka set will end up being based on the 1970s movie. That’s certainly the most iconic and recognizable version of the story, and they still market it to this day
This might just be because I'm Bri'ish, but I'm hoping the Charlie set is based on the book that started it all with some nods to the various adaptations. It gets overshadowed by the movie too much
>Phineas and Ferb once again passed (4th TIME!!!!!) >For adult Licence wins anyway However the Italian Riviera looks solid, It seems like amazing partpack!
The gumball machine is a legit great idea. But you know how lego loves disappointing us so I’ll wait until they reveal it two years in the future 🥲. Also, the Willy wonka set looks like being based of the book version. And the Italian Rivera is great but make it a Luca set you cowards
I saw the Ideas Project of that IKEA Store in that Review List. Such a kit would make a lot of sense, especially since Lego already has in-roads and deals with IKEA for those compatible Storage Bins and Parts Bundles. Really hope that one in particular makes it to an official kit!
I'm looking forward to both but I'm disappointed that we didn't get the A-Team set. I miss those sub-£50 sets we used to get in Ideas like Wall-E, BTTF, Ghostbusters, Tron, etc. We've only got one in the past 6 years and that was an unlicensed one
Only thing that'll suck with the Gumball Machine set, is it'll be like the recent giant R2-D2 set, where it's gonna be $100+, and all I want is the minifigs
Super excited about the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory set. I love the 2005 and 1971 movie, and if it's based off the book or musical, I'll love that too. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite things, and I'm just happy it's been chosen
Agreed, good picks. Maybe the fact that it’s not based on any one version of the story made it easier/cheaper to license and is what got it the win. They can just say it’s based on the book. I have no nostalgia for the original movie as I never saw it as a kid and I actually kinda love the Tim Burton version. 😂 And Wonka was just pure delight.
It would be great if both versions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory could be recreated on the set since both the 1971 and 2005 versions have a cult following. Additionally, the Wonka movie will be released in 2023 and perhaps it could also include a minifigure of chalamet wonka although the latter would be dreaming a lot
Does anyone else feel like Lego sets were more fun when they were marketed towards kids? Like I saw they were making a Zelda set but to be (even as an adult) it's only affordable and fun if it's a cheap set with lots of play features because they're fun to fiddle around with and carry around and it's also really fun when there's a whole wave of sets and you can pick out which ones you like the most and try to collect your favourite characters. I really like watching your videos every time one comes out but I haven't actually gotten a Lego set in like four years because I don't like the direction they've gone in.
The gumball machine is a legit great idea. But you know how lego loves disappointing us so I’ll wait until they reveal it two years in the future 🥲. Also, the Willy wonka set looks like being based of the book version. And the Italian Rivera is great but make it a Luca set you cowards
Little correction: I shouldn’t have implied the gumball machine wasn’t a great choice, since I do like that project.
@@just2good don’t think what picked this time was great either personally.
Sir please stop being a womanface sexist and cope/accept your biological self you will never alter chromosomes... we men will always have the X Y in our bodies.
just so you know it doesn't make me any different as a man that collects all the LEGO Elves sets
yeah that one is cute, would be great on a desk
@@theketaminekid1241 yay that’s a cool one
very happy these two got picked but man the phineas and ferb and wreck it ralph sets woulda been really cool
Lego Phineas and Ferb and Lego Wreck-It-Ralph would be a dream come true!
Phinease and Ferb wouldn’t make sense because Lego Ideas can’t use custom molds
I'm glad you liked my Italian Riviera project! Can't wait to see how this will look in its final form
YOOO CONGRATS!!!

Imagine getting a minifigure of the Quentin Blake Wonka. I’d die
As the creators we are very Happy!!!
OMG CONGRATS YALL!!
can they please make Luxo Jr. a set, I would buy that immediately
Disney fans would be so happy about that. 🤞
@@BrickMeisterZ Luxo Jr. is probably my favorite Disney character, so I can imagine so
>Phineas and Ferb once again passed (4th TIME!!!!!)

However the Italian Riviera looks solid, It seems like amazing partpack!
Meh I was hoping for Steve Irwin & Wreck It Ralph :/
Same
I was really hoping the No Man's Sky ship would get accepted, big sad.
We need to high vote on any submitted Lego hatsune miku and wreck it Ralph ideas
Still waiting on the nightmare before Christmas reveal that’s supposed to come out September 1st
Wonder why those selected projects still say “in review” instead of “approved?” 🤔
LEGO can sometimes be slow to update them. I think it is done manually
The gumball machine is a legit great idea. But you know how lego loves disappointing us so I’ll wait until they reveal it two years in the future 🥲. Also, the Willy wonka set looks like being based of the book version. And the Italian Rivera is great but make it a Luca set you cowards
GREAT JUST2GOOD LEGO IDEA 💡 SETS PROJECTS VIDEO.
@@metroid767 i know, like it’s a great set on it’s own, but it reminds me a ton about Luca
It'll be interesting seeing what the Willy Wonka set is based on
not to mention my fav movie, there was also the prequel film titled WONKA starring Timothy Chalemet so I hope there is a reference to that too
I gave up on Lego ideas entirely when they denied the Owl House set.
I saw the Ideas Project of that IKEA Store in that Review List. Such a kit would make a lot of sense, especially since Lego already has in-roads and deals with IKEA for those compatible Storage Bins and Parts Bundles. Really hope that one in particular makes it to an official kit!
I love the Willy Wonka set I hope they make it like the original movie.
Looking at the minifigures of the kids, all of them (minus the gamer kid, forgot his name oof) are from the musical
Mike Teevee

I grew up with the 1971 film and even the 2005 film, so I'm looking forward to seeing this new Lego set.
i made the musical penguins of madagascar. each penguin has a sound brick. support it on lego ideas if you like it.
We all know she'll change her opinion on the gumball machine when she sees the minifigures...
Only thing that'll suck with the Gumball Machine set, is it'll be like the recent giant R2-D2 set, where it's gonna be $100+, and all I want is the minifigs
That Willy Wonka set looks so colorful

I'm very happy about the Italian Riviera because its the closest we've yet come to getting a Luca set
I was thinking the same. If they had released Luca figures for Disney 100, the two put together would've been perfect
Lego has been due for some of these sets!
Out of all of them I expected the sea turtle to be picked just because it’s generic, but these are nice too!
I think it's going to be based on the Glasgow attraction. Fingers crossed for an unknown minifgure
Agreed, good picks. Maybe the fact that it’s not based on any one version of the story made it easier/cheaper to license and is what got it the win. They can just say it’s based on the book.

I LOVE The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory set. I can’t wait to pick that up
i can imagine that Gordon Ramsey meme with you in it over legos

They should have chosen Krusty Burger, Phineas and ferb, or shreks swamp
Nice LEGO preview, I'm so proud of you Sarah!😁
I think the Gumball Machine was a good choice
Awesome video just2good
Finally, Lego Ideas picked the best set since The Office! Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite movies from my childhood!

I feel this in some ways
Lego sets are still marketed towards kids. It's just people ignore those and focus on only the adult ones and act like no kids sets exist
The House of Krab is not taking this news lightly
Great Video! These are two great picks!
Is it already known when the twilight set will come out?
Wreck-It Ralph Lego when?
I like phineas and ferb
Who doesn’t.
At least we're getting new episodes even if the Lego set didn't get made
What is everyone's favourite Lego set?
I'm disappointed that phineas and ferb got denied
Why no Radiant Pillar BC1 tho?
two different themes, two good sets for us to wait for...
I love those Ideas
I definitely want the Charlie and the chocolate factory set when it releases
Still not very good picks compared to what we could of got
Willy Wonka?! The hype is real!
Still sad no lego coraline
🔥
still waiting on the damn twilight house!!!
Hi
Let's gooo
I hope it’s 1971 exclusively. If it’s not I might cry
To be fair: this was one of the worst selection of models that made it to 10,000 supporters.
First
Yes! A Wonka set. So rad.
