Red Raven Movie Records [1956]

In this video, I take you on a nostalgic journey back to the mid-20th century with the enchanting Red Raven Movie Records. These unique treasures combined colorful animations with delightful music, creating a magical experience for children and families alike. But as with all well-loved toys, time has taken its toll on these records. Some are cracked, their labels worn, and the once-shiny Magic Mirror viewer shows signs of age with tarnish, rust, and missing parts.
But don’t worry! I've worked hard to digitally restore these recordings to bring them as close as possible to their original glory. From pop, click, and noise removal to enhancing sound quality, each record has been carefully cleaned up. I’ve also scanned the labels and edited them to minimize imperfections, all so you can enjoy these pieces of audio history just as they were meant to be.
One track, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, is a special case. It’s missing the first few seconds due to damage, and I’ve left it unenhanced so you can hear just how much effort went into restoring the other recordings. If I manage to find a better copy, I’ll be sure to upload it, so stay tuned!
