By far, the most wholesome and amazing Infinity War reaction ever! I've watch so many reactions to the MCU and each one was great. Watching you take notes and doing your level best to pay attention was a step above! But this response....you....this was a truly heartfelt response to which I have not seen. Many of us, went through exactly what you are going through. The entire theater was silent. Not one person got up at the end. We all watched the entire end credits and all you heard was crying. Unlike you, we had to wait a YEAR to see how this story ended. I literally cannot wait to see your response to the end of the most amazing story, across this many movies, ever told. The one thing that most who experienced this as the movies were coming out did not realize was, this movie, "Avengers Infinity War", was not an "Avengers" movie. It was Thanos' movie. It was his story.
Very kind of you.
When Peter told Stark, "I don't feel so good", I automatically lost it in the theaters! 😭😭😭
Me too
I started loosing it when he said "Mr. Stark..."
The cast didn't know that he would say all those lines, and they lost it, too.
It was when he said I don't want to go that tore my up
@@markcainyourfriendinthecar3387 I got torn up already watching Wanda and Drax go. Those two and Spider Man hit the hardest for me
this is probably the best the MCU will ever be...the sense of dread, the pacing, having all these characters and it doesn't turn into a clusterf**k, it's as close to perfect as a comic book movie could get
I was there opening night, and I've watched countless people react to this. I still cry every time. This was the best cliffhanger of any movie ever made.
What a reaction. 5 years later and it’s like living it over again.
"It's not him, it's not him, it's not him." Funnily enough, I remember chanting the exact same thing to myself in the theatre in 2018. I was convinced Loki was playing another of his tricks. And when the scene cut and moved on, I was NOT okay haha
Probably the most heartfelt and raw reaction to this movie that I’ve ever seen on YT.
One fact that made me cry was when Groot gets snapped, he looks at Rocket and says "I am Groot.." James Gunn confirmed that it translates to "dad.." Rocket was always like a father to him 🥺❤️
Thanos says No Resurrections this time...
The greatest superhero movie of all time. The shock to know that the heroes didn’t win and Thanos grin at the end makes this a top movie of all time
Cant tell you how many times the crowd cheered. Amazing. Cap arrival. Thor arrival we all got out of our seats and lost it. And yes we all cried at the end.
Girl, you got me crying everytime you cry!!! I feel you so much girlfriend. You're in my heart hun.
You're such a beautiful soul.
I knew this would be hard on you. You did so well! You have a phenomenal memory! You’re the first reactor to remember anything about the time stone! Good job!!! This movie means a lot to me. Not just because I love superhero movies, but for personal reasons, too. My dad had dementia and hadn’t been able to stay awake through a whole movie in nearly a decade. Avengers: Endgame had just come out in theaters and I really wanted to see it in the theater. But I hadn’t seen this movie yet. So I rented it off RUclips. I loved it so much even though it was hard to watch the heroes fail. But it was exciting enough that I thought my dad would like it, too. The only MCU movie he saw was the first Avengers movie with me in the theater and he really enjoyed it. He not only stayed awake through this whole thing, but he was invested in it, too! This was the last movie he saw. When Endgame came out in theaters for the second time, he passed away. July 2, 2019. It took me 3 years before I could watch this movie again. It’s still difficult, but it’s getting easier. I keep trying to focus on the fact that we enjoyed this together and it was a highlight in that extremely difficult time. I saw Endgame in the theater a total of 9 times. 2 times before he died and 7 times after. It would have been more, but the second run of the movie ended soon after that. Anyway, excellent reasoning and logic as you worked out the possibilities. That’s always impressive to see. 💙💙💙
Hi Gippy, thank you so much for sharing so much of yourself. Im sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel - as I lost my dad, a few years ago. I hope my reactions keep you happy, much love.
"It's like erectile dysfunction" was my spit out my coffee moment lolol. Yet it is so accurate also.
My first time seeing your content. This was so adorable. Omg, seeing that you took notes as you're watching. That's truly sweet, that you cared enough after someone suggested these to you to actually pay attention and not just breeze through them. Such a good movie but definitely made me cry a few times.
This movie is devastating! I think you handled it as well as can be expected. I felt the same way. Just remember, we’re in the End Game now.
Exactly, this is part 1 of 2.
I love her honest reactions, but I feel for her when she gets to endgame if the opening five minutes of this movie was having her cry
@@johnfive2440 I agree, but I think it is worth it. Honestly, I think these movies were award worthy . Several actors gave some of the best work they have ever done in these two movies!
@@staciepoole8161 totally agree
@@staciepoole8161 - Hemsworth absolutely gave it his all.
This was the most emotional reaction I’ve seen of this movie. I felt for you
I think she needs to watch the next movie asap. Her pain and lip quiver is making ME cry.
20:58 "you have a beard or something now" 😂😂😂 you made laugh so hard in the middle of balling my eyes out crying. I love your videos so much 🤣
That whole emotionally eating while speculating, threatening to quit it all if someone dies episode you through? BEEN THERE DONE THAT HONEY 😭😂
You're very empathetic, I worry for you going through the rest of it, but it's so worth it!!!
Anyhow, I feel your pain. Thank you.
I love watching KSO react to these movie cause it makes feel like I'm actually literally watching a movie with a friend☺️☺️☺️
That's because you are
My brother and I were literally crying in the theater. It was dead silent. The lights turned on after the credits. Slowly dverybody started filing out. It was opening night so it was early morning when we walked out of the mall.
A few 100 people made zero noise. It was eerie
What an amazing experience. Wow! So powerful. 💙💙💙
Same with my theater, there was a kid, who looked maybe 7 or 8 and he was balling his eyes out over Spider-Mans death. His dad had to carry him out of the theater. I felt so ba door him lol. Wish I got to see that kids reaction to Endgame.
Oh my God, you poor thing. Hands down the most heartfelt reaction to this masterpiece I have ever seen. We know what you were feeling. You have my sub sweetheart.
Yo the chill ass transition when Parker died, she cried walking away and the Patreon advert stepped in. Top tier editing 😂
After that first Heimdal reaction, I really felt sorry for you, since you didn't know how much worse it would get... Huggs from Sweden to you! ENDGAME is approaching...
19:01 "He said morons" 🤣 That was adorable.
Rocket refers to them as morons a moment before he and Thor leave, that's why.
I've spent at least half an hour trying to think of what I could say without spoiling anything. Couldn't come up with anything, so I'll just say 'great reaction'
An appropriate reaction. The theater was dead silent after the initial ending. Endgame brings a lot of the same energy in a very different way.
I've never heard such a large group of people be SO dead silent. Like...not in a funeral, not while sleeping, nothing lol. Ear piercing silence!
I was in a packed theater on opening night for this in the Seattle area and are were as one that night. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride that with Endgame ill never be experienced again.... Imo words you would have ended to be there .
This one shocked us into stunned silence in the theater
I am new to your channel and this reaction just hurt my heart. When you said, "I'm so sorry, Wanda", I cried right along with you. Also, your gorgeous voice is bringing me right back to a time long ago when I worked for the kindest, most loving boss I'd ever had- who was from Nigeria. She was incredibly brilliant, funny, and LOUD- fussing over everyone she came into contact with just like my own Italian family. It solidified my belief that people are more alike in many ways than we are different. Hearing you speak and seeing your empathy is bringing me right back. Thank you for your openness in sharing this with all of us.
You're going to need a couple boxes of tissues for Avengers: Endgame.
Your emotional reaction to the end is right up there with your reaction to Snape's memories.
You have me crying, you’re reaction are so honest. Your the best, and too precious for this world. Next film is emotional prepare yourself 🙏🏾❤️
This was the best reaction I've ever seen for Infinity War
Genuinely
What a beautiful and yet somber reaction to one of THE BEST Marvel's cinematic masterpieces. I laughed and cried along with you. As difficult as it was to watch, so bittersweet, (more bitter than sweet), your reaction and investment in the characters made me relive my theatrical experience and that's something I will forever be grateful.
I've always said that you have the most beautiful, precious, sincere soul and it showed so much here that you shined like an angel! I felt every second of your heartache. We ALL did. As wholesome and wonderful it was and as grateful as we all are for your experience, I can't tell you enough how deeply sorry I am for your anxiety and pain. Please, don't let this discourage you from continuing. They really are brilliant movies.
That being said, keep doing what you're doing. We ALL love you and your wonderful channel. And thank you again for a wonderful experience!
Thank you for being kind Luv
Endgame is just as much as an emotional roller coaster ride
A very genuine reaction from a kind hearted person...alot of ppl cried in the theater when spiderman turned to dusk
Arguably the best MCU movie to date.
Civil War? Also does Logan count?
@@YT_AKai_ Logan isn't MCU.
it would be if there was no endgame
@@Azarath_Metrion_Zinthos Yes they are, Every marvel ever made even Howard the duck exist somewhere in the Multiverse
“They slapped it out of him”😅😂😂😂😂⚰️
Thanos's name is a play on the name Thanatos who is the Greek god (aka personification) of Death.
In the comics, Thanos ends half of all life due to his literal love of Death. Not the concept of death but the actual personification of Death.
Denial is not just a river in Egypt. Loki is very dead.
So sorry hun, they did kill Loki
She instantly knew. Eff this movie, stop trying to make me laugh.
I love how ppl hate Loki, but then he's like their favorite character.
@@solongdentahlplaan7975 I actually like Loki. Always have empathy for those struggling without own inner stuff finding their way to redemption
Loki isn't my fav character but I feel bad he died
I feel worse for Heimdall. As soon as Loki died, everyone forgot about him. Poor Thor, after losing so many in Ragnarok, to then lose so many more immediately afterward. It's amazing the guy's not in a padded room. You can only take so much loss.
@@solongdentahlplaan7975always hated him, literally felt nothing when he died lmao. Kill 80 ppl in one day & im supposed to like the character? He’s like the immature little brother💀
At 36:40 when you begin eating chips and connecting dots😂, just casually gazing into the distance and predicting the whole movie was hilarious and cool to me
17:01, you didn't show it but you did notice that Gamora knows the words to one of Peter's favorite songs. He won her over with music instead of his "pelvic sorcery". LOL.
I remember seeing this in the theater in Michigan. We were all stunned. Then one man got up and raged. Like raged and ranted at all the ending. We sat there listening then one by one people started to cry. No one moved until the credits finished and then we filed out. No talking, no side chatter.
It was just a shock and so sudden
same for my showing....nobody said a word and just walked out after the credits
Nope, not a single word was uttered, all the way out of the theater. Never seen anything like that before or since.
We had a guy rant like that in North Carolina, except we were all crying already. It was the lightness we all needed to dry out a bit.
I’ve been here a good amount of months, and I still can’t get over how nice the accent sounds when she speaks with emotion🙏🏾💪🏾
after see your reaction i had to subscribe right away, ive seen many good and heartbreaking reactions but yours was dope... cant wait to see your Endgame react... much love and keep up
I appreciate that - thank you
I didn't care much for the previous Avengers movies but this one was a home run. Now you have Endgame to look forward too.
I’m so sorry that you had to suffer through that but it’s also entertaining. We all felt what you felt in the theatre. It was wild
she is saying she is emotionally drained when next to nothing has happened. Cant wait to see the ending of this reaction :D
Best "Endgame" reaction... EVER! That might be the largest collection of "That's what SHE said" quotes and of course it's always thrilling when you do "Wakanda" quotes. I get a chill every time you say, "Dust and blood." Bravo!
Our theater in Atlanta was silent after the snap and then it was gasp after gasp then the sniffling started. We were a collective wreck. Nobody moved until the lights can on and we still sat there a few minutes just in case.
When Stark was holding Peter in his arms, I lost it 😭😭😭😭
Someone might have mentioned this, but in the comics Thor has the ability to understand any language he encounters.
16:50 “I can’t help myself” *starts dancing*
I guess it’s true what they say: you’re bound to lose control when the rubber band starts to jam
Your emotional reactions in this video show just how invested you have gotten over the course of these movies. These are not just actors playing parts with expensive CGI, these are living people to you. That just shows how great an accomplishment the MCU has been up until now.
I won't spoil what comes next, of course. But I will point out one thing that we all thought about in that year we had to wait between Infinity War and Endgame. Doctor Strange said he saw 14,000,605 possible futures, and they only won once. It stands to reason, then, that every action he took from that point on was to attain that 1 in 14,000,605.
I forget if it's Ant Man and the Wasp or Captain Marvel next, but which ever it is, see you then.
Ah, thank you for your kind words and appreciation for KSO. But when it comes to the 1 in 14,000,605 chance of winning, all I can do is to quote Ronin (if you know, you know): “Don’t… Don’t give me hope.” At least, that’s what feels like after sitting through this film when it came out. 😢
Ant-Man and the Wasp is next! It’ll be a nice funny feel-good movie for her. She needs it!
I remember that night so clearly.
When Thanos snap his fingers the whole theater was in dead silence. But for some strange reason I was happy
My boyfriend asked me why and I say, "well, this is the first time that I see a villain winning in a Disney movie"
I know, there's something wrong with me 😆😅
Even though it is vastly different then the comics, it did Thanos justice.
Hey, Zemo won
29:17 in the movie Guardians of the galaxy (2015) when she was captured by the Nova Corp, it shows that she was the *last* survivor of her race. So what Thanos did was pretty much for nothing, and it proves he never really went back to see if the planet was "saved"
I sometimes cry in movies. But never have I left the theater still crying. This one did that to me. I will never forget it. Dont give up on it yet love!
I've watch so many IW reaction videos and this is the only one I've seen someone stress eating while watching.
Sorry my hun - I know I was loud, just couldn't help myself.
@SCENE'crly, K.S.O. don't be sorry. I've seen people ball out crying like you did but not stress eating 😁
3:22 this was the 10 year anniversary. Iron Man was in 2008, Infinity War was in 2018
There should be a warning on this excellent movie that states as follows: “This movie will induce excessive amounts of tears to come out of one’s eyes. So basically, be ready to cry….a lot”. Anyways, nice job Kemi and I look forward to seeing your reaction to Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness eventually
You breaking down about Peter was so heartbreaking and made me cry all over again 😭😭😭😭😭😥😥
went to the pictures to se this so had to stay behind for 15 minutes at the end trying to get myself together 😭😭😭
I've been waiting for this reaction since you started watching the MCU! I'm glad it's finally here.
@@ragad3 indeed lol
There's a reason why this is only part 1. There's more to the story and it's epic.
Omg, I’m at work while this is happening and ya know what - they can wait!
*gets comfortable*
Love your reaction, this movie is definitely an emotional roller coaster
This movie broke hearts, but Endgame will wreck you.
hmmm
Your reaction to Banner not being able to transform into Hulk had me laughing so hard!! "He's scared, don't look at him, it's like erectile dysfunction.." 😂😂😂 you're the best Kemi 😁
Four years later and people haven't forgiven Star-Lord for ruining the plan. But that's what makes them the heroes. It's their emotions that make them want to do good. They aren't emotionless like the villains.
35:23 valid point there, some calculations show that I will not take more than 30 years for the population to go back as it was before. Some race might take 300 years, 3000 years, but no matter, even a million years in the timescale of the universe is just a blink
Gotta say. We all really enjoy how engaged you are. 👍
I appreciate that
In the days following the release of the film, friends, coworkers...we all had theories about what Endgame was going to be like, and of course after seeing Captain Marvel, then Antman And Wasp with even more theories.
Not one came close.
Wish I could relive seeing Endgame on opening night.
Listen…I was going through a breakup when this came out…I went to the theatre thinking… oh yeah an Avengers movie will definitely make me feel better.😳
Any catharsis, at all? lol
oh u poor soul. 🙏🏼❤️
"It's not him. It's a fake." Are you sure? "Loki" can be such a rat...
I think Avengers Infinity War is the best Avengers movie but I only saw it once in the theater and don’t feel the need to ever watch it again. I have many friends who won’t either. It is just a painful film to watch. I can still remember the entire audience just sitting there in silence at the end of the movie.
All seriousness/Darkness aside.....I thought it was funny how you compared Bruce's inability to conjure up Hulk to Erectile Dysfunction. 💀💀
It was so much fun watching your reaction... just when you thought it couldn't get worse... Snap! 😂
❤️❤️
when Thanos's home world was dying he did put his self in the jackpot to be one of the ones who die. He said it goes for everybody rich, poor, royalty, peasants, everyone including himself.
YAAAAS!!! I’m so excited for this! You’re catching up!!! I really hope someone (Raga) has you do the shows, too!
I think he has done MORE than I can ask for. Let's not put any pressure on him
Don’t worry darling, all in good time. 😃 I have the MCU watch order memorized so well (including any relevant pre-MCU Marvel films 😉) you can ask me to recite it in my sleep! I have a feeling Kemi will want a little break after the end of Phase 3. This is as much Kemi’s choice regarding the pace at which she feels comfortable consuming all the MCU content. But whatever the pace, I’ll be the watcher, LOL - guiding her through these vast new films/shows in the correct watch order will be my responsibility!
@@ragad3 good man. 👊🏼
@@samanthanickson6478 👊
Every time I watch you break down I always want to give you the tightest hug😔❤️
Thank you
The way you take in this movie is pure chaos and emotion.
I love it 😂😂😂😂
Potato chips for stress.
I laughed so hard my stomach cramped up. That was HILARIOUS😂😂😂
This makes me so sad. But we all went thru it and know the feeling.. sucks!!!
I knew the min you started the marvel series this day would come. Watching this in the theater hearing grown men and women wail, it was a mess. My best friend still refuses to watch this movie to this day! You did great, It’s rough, but hang in there!!
*Hugs* Kemi. This was a rough one for EVERYBODY, believe me. Collective sadness and confusion.
My biggest complaint on this movie is how characters Banner & the Hulk were written. At the time, the Russo Bros stated they had no idea how to incorporate them into the film, but hindsight tells us more was at play here.
That was 100% Loki
I really felt for you watching your reaction of this film. Here's a virtual hug from me.
Never thought that I would hear about Xangô here! He's a god worshiped in some Afro-religions here in Brazil
No other superhero film comes close to Infinity War. To me, it's the Gold Standard. A virtually flawless film.
1:08:33, My wife and I live in Atlanta where this scene was filmed. This is between the Rialto theatre and the Atlanta Central library. We were literally driving down this street yesterday. LOL.
Peter Quill was the only one that was willing to sacrifice his love.
I have to give you credit; despite all your grief, you're the first reactor I've seen who could foresee Thanos's using the Time Stone to make Wanda's killing of Vision moot.
Thanos to Gamora, re Quill: "I like him". Of course Thanos does; Quill just showed that he was willing to kill Gamora for the greater good, even though he loves her. Which, of course, is exactly why Thanos claims HE killed Gamora.
Except of course, that Thanos is a self-pitying maniacal sociopath. EVEN IF you grant his supposition that the only way to deal with population issues is mass-murder (rather than, say, growing 2x the crops). things won't be the same on every planet. Some planets might "need" a 30% population reduction, some might "need" 70% to die. But Thanos just did 50% across the board. Even if he ALREADY KILLED half of the population, as on Gamora's planet.
(It's only a 50-50 shot if Eitri lived, even though Thanos already killed every other dwarf on Nidavellir.)
Plus, he isn't just random, he makes exceptions. Strange asks that Tony live, Thanos is all "I don't lie", so Tony lives. And Nebula lives because Thanos sort of likes her. But the other five people on Titan (Strange, Peter, Quill, Drax, Mantis) all die, which isn't 50-50. But Thanos is punishing Strange for asking for the favor.
That's why he spares all the Avengers from the battle in New York, but all the newcomers (Falcon, Panther, Bucky, Wanda) die. No math there, just deliberate murder.
(Rhodey gets lucky because he never officially joined [he's still active-duty military…at least until Ross has him court-martialled]. And then he's lucky again, just to make it through the random 50% cut. And Thanos has no idea that Rocket and Groot are Guardians, since he never meets them. They just have the luck of the 50-50; Rocket lives, Groot dies.)
Finally, I grudgingly support that "Thanos will return" at the end of the credits. Yeah, it's his movie; he's the protagonist here. And he won. Yay?
(Also, even though I had headphones on, your sobbing scared my cat. I reassured him, though. :) )
There's a big clue regarding the 1 chance they would win and it has to do with Doctor Strange giving the stone to save Tony Stark's life. He knew more than he was letting on, even if it resulted in half of life disappearing.
hard not love loki which ever side he was on
14:20 "Yes! YEEEES. Slice your head." XD XD XD XD
I heard that some people who watched infinity war needed therapy afterwards.
commenting eventhough im just 7 mins in, you're disbelief on loki's death gets me, but yeah, loki's really dead by this time. i paused for about 30 mins the first i watched that scene
WOW!! You Really took that Hard! POOR DEAR! You OK? You almost made Me Break down again! 😘
Now that’s great filmmaking loved every part of it
