Imagine being a lone survivor and coming across this place by pure accident in a fog-blanketed world. I think I'd be thrilled just to see electricity and try to harness it.
I would also try to find the source of that blood (if there is one left) before cleaning it up as best I could, if I'm going to be staying there.
this feels like something that would play in the video game darkwood, some abandoned military outpost that was overrun deep in the old woods, just this scene but more lore for that game..

@@Tech_Ez Just like You're Always Welcome (also very highly recommend), it started out as an internet story series narrated by the creepypasta crowd and then became a book you can buy from regular retailers like Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I only just found out about the book and the voice narration continuation after "season 2" and am getting pretty hyped for both. I just started season 3 which is already popping off hard and it's amazing.
You'll find it narrated really well on MrCreepyPasta's channel if you search "Accounts from a Lonely Broadcast Station (ALL SEASONS)", and there should be 2 vids, the first is 4 hours and the second is 6 hours. The author popped into the comments on the p2 video w/ her thanks for the promotion, since the book expands on what's available online.
@@Tech_Ez It is now, as I've recently found out. The original version (10 hours narrated really well) is on MrCreepyPasta's channel. I'm going to order the book in paperback today from a retailer that mentioning may have gotten my comment auto-deleted by YT last night. Wonder if this one will be deleted too.

The poor researchers didn't stand a chance. Almost nothing was left, not a single bone. Just a few puddles of blood still slowly dripping across the floor. The lurking horrors of the forest had slaughtered all of them. I thought about the families who would never be whole again. The fear that must have gripped those who worked here as their lived were snuffed out by cruel and uncaring beasts. I wasn't going to let this stand. What the horrors didn't know
