Best song from the show, in my opinion, was Yakety Yak.

Crazy chance you might be able to capture this again from the back / middle - beside the audio - visual tech booth? They used to let me shoot still photos from that spot all the time. They'd probably love to see a recording from that vantage point, where you can see it as though you were watching it in person. LOVED this show. Great audio on this version!

@@Justin_Ellison - If you contact some of the performers ahead of time (or even ask them at one of the first shows of the day), they will often save you a good spot right in the middle at the back, next to the lighting and sound booth. I used to photograph the show quite often for them and we often did this for people when we could. Especially if we'd seen their work ahead of time and knew it would be a good resulting product. ;)

You’re gonna tell me they didn’t hire even ONE black girl for this show? The white girl who sang “Respect” was horrible. At least hire a white girl that can sing that song properly. Just awful!!!!

There are group a and group b for this show. I do not know what group this is. I found a link that you are talking about, but in a different song: ruclips.net/video/aDkqsBfh-R8/видео.html. Please note that the show have back up, if they need them.

Simmer down there hot sauce - not sure why you're bringing color into it but you just happen to be watching a show that had several fill-ins in it for that day. Go back and watch this show from 2017... that girl nailed this song but she was really probably too good for Dollywood and moved on the next year. EVERYBODY loved her though. And to be fair, she's not the only one who's been hired for a part in this show, Dollywood has had numerous "black" performers for this show and many others throughout their park. (Go back and watch the older versions of this show here on YT.) In addition, keep in mind - Dollywood can only hire from what they have in auditions and if no one with their standard of talent shows up, then that's not on them, that's on the ones who didn't apply and didn't audition. I agree - the gal who sings this song is not the best but she's also not their principal performer for that role. You just caught this on a bad day. Hell - auditions are coming up... we'd love to see you come audition and sing this song - properly. ;) Make it happen @GJM!! Look up Illiana Rivera who played that part in this show with the cast of 2018. She's the best I've ever seen do this song in this show... What blows my mind is that you evidently somehow missed the "diversity" of the men's section. Yes, we'd all love to see it be an "equal cast", but these entertainment groups can only work with who shows up for auditions. Something fun to think about is how the principal cast of Disney's Lion King seemingly has very little diversity in their vocal performers... yet, I don't hear anyone yelling about that one. It's all going to be ok. Just enjoy the show for what it is and stop overthinking it.
