I feel like I came up with the whole aero-concept thing a while back. For instance, I have an aero-job: I sit alone in an empty room and pretend to have a job and that I make money. I also eat aero-food that I bought with the aero-money I earned at my aero-job. After that I hang out with my aero-friends. Life is.. good.. (great video, man!)

When you've played mainly air drums you get the rebound from the stick hitting your palm, it's something we do without realising and it translates pretty well when I do sit on a real kit :)
I’ve been drumming for years and you can do techniques where you hit drums way faster in short periods of time by using the bounce of the stick on the drum in certain ways. It’s usually done in marching bands and stuff but it can be used in normal music. That’s probably one of the biggest disadvantages of this.
Agree - my double strokes were my best chops back when I played drums more, and that's impossible with this (or I'd at least have to develop a new technique)
Believe me, this will get better. There are new techniques being worked on, that use constant, unhearable tones, to make it feel like things are there.

The stuff he’s doing is easier then when I learned set at school. This is first month stuff because anything slower than eighth notes on your hands is easy. Fast feet, triplets, rudiments, etc. are where you separate decent drummers from basic drummers. He’s still a much better singer/songwriter than me, and I have mad respect for that
