this song received some backlash bcs people are misinterpreting it as misogynistic, when bts actually didnt mean it that way (i also dont see it that way). so they stopped performing the song, and RM started reviewing his lyrics in a more detailed manner by reading more on social phenomenon, read newspaper about women issues, and after he finished writing, he would go to a professor of women studies to review his lyrics, in case the words he use can get misinterpreted. Their label also apologized for the issue and bts stopped making songs like that.

I love the grit in V's voice. He is great with his range even more so with the higher notes these days but is swag and demeanor is fantastic. They are all soooo great though.

I was thinking about how ridiculous the criticism for this song was earlier today. Most American songs have worse lyrics in terms of misogyny, and yet BTS was criticized for this? Also, they were at an age where they are going through hormonal changes and puberty, so this was something that they were dealing with at that time. I think this song is cute and catchy, and definitely fun to bop to.
This video was recorded about 3 weeks ago, before I did the “Permission to dance” video. So I was still getting to know all the members. Right now I know who everyone is. But the next 10 or 15 videos are all recorded BEFORE the “Permission to dance” video.

Seriously this is probably one of the best reaction on this song I've seen (and since War of Hormone (WOH) is truly one of my all time favorite, I have seen a lot!)
Love how you broke it down! BTS wrote WOH after their experience with the ladies from American Hustle Life (episode 5&6) and these lyrics are so tame compared to what is on the radio now.
BTS got so much flack over the lyrics that they no longer perform the song live. All women are not the same and though some were offended, many were not!!!!

Actually he “JungKook” was only 17 when this song came out. Korean age is different than international age. You can be 1 or 2 years older than you actually are. For example V was born on Dec 30th at which point he is age 1 and 2 days later on Jan. 1st he turned 2, but internationally he was only 3 days old.
