This came out the same year I turned 18. Thrust into adulthood with a new sense of freedom, it was exciting and daunting. This song reminds me of all that hope and anticipation that came with that milestone. It’s very nostalgic for me. The people I would fall in love with, the heartbreak, the drunk times, the memories all tied up in this song. ❤️

This was the first song I've ever heard Regina sing; this is how I discovered the most beautiful voice in the world.
I still favor it the most... simply because it showed me that there was someone who thinks just like me out there, and her name is Regina Spektor.
i'm fairly certain this song describes someone at my school pretty well, she acts like she doesn't like me, sort of, but she talks to me. but the thing is that we're going to different high schools, which is actually pretty sad for me. at least i gave her my phone number so we might talk, which would probably be nice for me.

Both have their ups and downs. Oliver version is higher quality, but more robotic (duh). This video is older and quieter, but has more emotion.
