Music is a magic that no one will ever truly understand. It is the greatest thing humanity has ever created. It both transcends us and comes from us. I really don't know where I would be without it and all the wonderful people who populate the world with songs like this.

When I was young, I'd watch this religiously and always be infuriated with Summer....now, as I've grown and experienced the ups and downs of love, I understand and appreciate it completely. It's a bittersweet story. It just takes some time to realize that neither one of them was really in the wrong.

"living in a den of thieves" I think is trying to say that they're all really jealous of them and that's why they tried to belittle the relationship. "it's contagious" is about everyone just wanting what other people have. But idk, just my opinion. I always thought it was a really pretty love song.
I don't really know... Regina's lyrics aren't always easy. Sometimes I think they can be a bit surreal. But I like them because of that. They give room to interpretation. Not so much "in your face".

When I was young, I'd watch this religiously and always be infuriated with Summer....now, as I've grown and experienced the ups and downs of love, I understand and appreciate it completely.
