Hey Steve..just seeing this..thank you..that Waterboys set looks amazing..Grand Funk Live is a classic live album..I am drooling over that Rory set..Can’t have enough Bob..He is THE GOAT…I still haven’t picked the Dylan and The Band set..awesome stuff Steve..you are the best❤❤👍glen
Hey Glen! Yes, glad I pulled the trigger on that immediately, as it sold out fast. I know Randy was bummed he missed out on it. "Bald guys for Rory". When I think of Bob I think of you. Cheers and thanks!
My Bob collection pales in comparison to yours, Steve and always thought had a shitload myself. Bravo. Making up for lost time w/new posts. Five up in five days, double bravo.
Nice job on the Glen's CD Tag. I'll definitely look for Pacific Sound on RUclips. That Rory Gallagher box set looks incredible and the Cathy Richardson cd case design is really cool!
My first CD player was around the '84 time frame as well. Paid maybe around $500 or so, and it was as big as my mom's dining room table! Not surprised with the size and breadth of your CD collection, Steve. I have been selling off my CD'S online for a while now, but keeping some choice box sets, and all my Dylan. Rollling Thunder Review is up there for me. I love that galloping, foot stomping version of 'A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall'.😎🎶
Hey Ed! Interesting you're selling off your CD's when many others seem to be buying more of that format. Are you freeing up space or focusing on one format? Cheers!
@@AisForAliceBisForBob A little of both, actually. Just about all of my CD's are stored digitally (and backed up!), and as my ebay page can attest, CDs are still sought after by many music collectors. So, a little extra $$ in the bank and space in the house!
while you were off the air (so to speak) I started a series of videos (on CWTAE) looking at the 3rd to 6th studio releases by a band, and my first one was on Supertramp. That run of albums from Crime of the Century through Crisis, Moments and Breakfast in America was simply stellar. Not a bad album among them. A hugely underrated band in my opinion 🙂
@ I mean I couldn’t see what you were doing, but it sounded like you were pulling records out of here, there, and everywhere, especially with Mr. B Dylan.
Hey Steve- people thought my 122 Gary Numan CDs was a crazy number- pales greatly to your Dylan collection 😲….but then you DO have almost 4x the number of CDs than I have! Your lost vinyl story reminds me of a Sam Kinison comedy bit where he sings a song about breaking up- one line is ‘I WANT MY RECORDS BACK! I WANT MY F--G RECORDS BAAAACK! 😆 Cheers-R
Hey Richard! I used to be bitter about losing that collection, but I had to let it go, and now it only pops in my mind when doing a video like this. But I agree with Sam. Cheers!
Hey Steve. Welcome back. Just subbed. Great video. Love Ian Hunter, saw him live a few times, once when he and Mick Ronson were together. Dylan! Cheers
Great box set. Unfortunately, I was never able to get the set but luckily Amazon gave me the download while I was on the waiting list before I was finally told it was unavailable. So I have been able to listen to it and it is great. Will probably put it on CD-R's eventually. I really like that CD design you chose. I might have to say ditto to the question on most CD's by an artist but you do have a few more Dylan sets as I am missing a few. Nice response.
Hey Randy! Sorry you missed out on 'TITS' (I did not realize that was the acronym for the album until I just typed it out), but glad Amazon gave you a download. I'll be laughing at that all day. Cheers!
4500 cds holy!!! i think i have around 200 so far, Bob is actually one of the few artist were i listened to all 40 of his album i think blood on the tracks is my favorite from him. also saw the movie "a complete unknown" that was very good!
You asked for Dylan and you got it 😊. You qualify as a national registry for Dylan’s musicography. Is that a word? Loved that unique cd dashboard packaging. My first cd player was a Denon too but probably not as high up the chain. Sounded beautiful. I’ve assembled my cds for this stay tuned 😊
Hey Greg! It may be a word but I took a pas on Dylan's 3 songbook alums and his Christmas album. See Sam or Glen for true completists. I will be watching. Cheers!
Hi Steve!!! So cool to see ypu did a pretty good response to Glen's Cd Tag.... Your Dylan collection is really impressive and hard to believe you don't have a spreadsheet with your collection..... btw just a small niemity, maybe you changed microphones but i can only hear you on the left channel!! cheers and be well
Thanks Thomas! Some of it I can't listen to (first 4 albums where its just him and a guitar), but like any artist with that big of a discography, there will be highs and lows. Cheers!
@@AisForAliceBisForBob I don't have as much Dylan as you but I have more than enough good artist great songwriter for sure, but I have to be in the mood
Dylan! OMG!! Have you ever listened to all of those Dylan Live CDs?? A guy I trade CDs with has copied me more Dylan Live and Boots than I will ever play. I was slow to go to CDs. I never stopped buying records and I stuck with cassettes well into the 90's. When I finally bought a car with a CD player (1997!) I finally gave up on tapes.
Hey Steve, I was wondering what happened to you! Good to see you again. I haven't had a lot of time to check out new channels lately, so that explains why I'm so far behind the game and so clueless, now I should always be up to date! Now, that Waterboys box set is just outright awesome-ness in a box. Very cool! Completely agree with you about Crime of the Century, one of the best albums every made. Love the Black Sabbath box too! And your Dylan collection makes me extremely jealous. Amazing collection! Have you got any Motorpsycho in there?
Hey Mike! Still alive and well! Motorpsycho - I have 'The Tower' and 'The Crucible', but I need to get more. You are the first person I have seen or heard mention them. Cheers!
@AisForAliceBisForBob I love Motorpsycho too, but i unfortunately don't have anything physical format by them 😔. I am quite familiar with many of their albums though and I hope to find their albums that I can actually hold soon.
I came to Dylan too late to ever fully appreciate all those box sets, but I still want them! 😆Cool entry, cheers Steve!
Hey Scott! Some of those box sets can still be had, and for a lot less than what I paid for them. Cheers!

Splendid entry and video, as always Steve.
Would love to get that Waterboys box one day, looks great.
Cheers from Morten
Thanks Morten!
That was an expensive CD player! You have an impressive Dylan CD collection. That was a very cool CD package.
Thanks Brian!

Hey Nick! I will head over and watch that now. Cheers!
Good looking Dylan collection there, he's definitely my most collected artist. That's an awesome cd package, very unique.
Thanks Sam!
This video I listened to this morning while walking to the station. I couldn’t watch or take time to comment, but you sounded really busy, Steve!
