Great episode. Do not let the language requirement for citizenship sneak up on you. It is more than just being able to have a casual conversation. As you know, Brasil is a tough place to get through any process with the government and there are many hurdles placed in your way to get anything done. The language requirement can be one of them . . . or not . . . luck of the draw sometimes in Brasil.
Brazil seems like a good choice for a girl but boys are a bit of different story, it’s a bit more difficult. I have a friend born in San Paulo who is still Brazilian but lives in USA. He needs to get an exemption for military service, and vote in order to renew his passport. But nonetheless I think it’s a good option
only abour 5 to 10% of the male population ends up serving, mostly by choice. I looked into it before having my son there and it seems very easy to get out of. The alternative is to just be out of the country during the ages normally he would serve
Mikkel, great episode. I'm a Brazilian citizen and kind of addicted to your podcast. I'm learning a lot from it... Quick question. I heard about a lot of great places for birth tourism as Thailand (which sounds cheaper than Brazil), South Korea, Mexico and other places. Why did you choose Brazil? Just for the good citizenship/ passport and the opportunity to get a "free passport " for your family or anything else got your attention here?? I'm planning to have a life/ kids overseas and to create some youtube content so it will be nice to talk with you 10 to 15 minutes... even though I think it will be impossible to so, I'll love to get a feedback from you! Thanks for your attention and for the amazing content! Wish all the best for you and your family!
@@ADAMREES-GRITGYM they do, but they must wait until the child is 5 yrs old generally. Which is obviously not like Mexico or Brazil. It’s due to the Central Americans and Colombians mostly who were coming to give birth in panama and being able to stay in country because of a Panamanian born child.
@@ExpatMoneyShow yes thats where I’m at. Makes perfect sense. Would like to “benefit from the birth” if possible, but I’m perfectly happy with panama. Any other countries you considered besides Mexico? Mexico was extremely easy and smooth.
Great video! Much appreciated. How does the gentleman married to the Chinese woman have more than one property in China? I thought that only one property could be owned in China due to the socialist heritage.

What is the name of the hospital and doctor ?

Hi what documents do we need to bring as parents to register the child? Do we have to notorize it? And translation?

Question, any reason why you did not choose Panama? Or just wanted to open another door since you’re already a resident in Panama?
I’m pretty sure parents don’t get residency in Panama like they do in Brazil and Mexico

@@RC94332 I see. That does change things.

Could you tell me whether argentina or brazil citizenship by birth is better?
It all depends on many factors and what you are looking for. For me, Brazil checks many boxes.
Which hospital did you choose in Brazil?
Also my question

There are always legal ways to get things done, they are just more difficult in some places (and China is definitely one of those.)
shame on you
using your chold to qchive your goal
there are other ways !
sorry, what?
How about if someone already has kids and then comes to Brazil and has a kid , do they siblings also qualify for citizenship ?
Your other kids have a fast track to citizenship in Brazil if they have a Brazilian sibling
