I want to tell everyone who lost a dear one that They Know about e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g that tou are going through. Gran and I were close and after she was gone she told me in a dream that she “do not seek news for Angels bring them to me!” Her exact words. Another thing.. Dad was gone when we all been in a bad situation so you can say he left worried sick about us .. I saw him after so many years also in a dream and at the time life changed for each one of us his family but I wasn’t in a good shape.. I saw him sitting on my chaise longue in my room looking at me silently. They Know All about us. They’re not that far behind. Miss you. 💐
Had never heard of this series until was diagnosed covid positive the other day 😕 It's helping keep my mind occupied and relaxed. Loving it x! x Thank you x
@@unasperanza9803 Yes...weird, strange time. So many people didn't have to die if the medical system had been prepared. And since in America, the nightly news had been telling us for over20 years a pandemic was coming.. Why the hell weren't we prepared? Oh because, in America anyway, we have a for profit system. Insurance companies at the top and the top 5 biggest insurance Cos. profit by over 1 trillion a year. There is no incentive to INVEST in a decent (+10%) medical system.."robust preparedness" Rural hospitals, robust staffing, adequate specialists, adequate medical infrastructure, etc. When medical insurance is commodity, traded in shares on the stock exchange, for the profit of CFOs Hospital Admin. etc etc. GREED institutionalized.
Have to say I agree, really liked Warren Clarke, (think he exhibited a similar character to me), and Pauline Quirke. Lost interest in the series without them.
I know one place at Chalfont St Giles Memorial Hall was film there, I live at C.St.Giles everytimes I walk around there and been inside at Memorial Hall and one I know film had been at Bottom Lane Seer Green, I was always ride my bike through on road. I know BBC made film was at St Giles & Seer Green 2002.... I already been met Pauline Quirke at Sainsbury’s Becaonsfield
Always daily issues injured and dying animals,a hot headed husband, troubled teenage love affairs ...yes all this is life especially on a farm ,but all the time some drama it is exhausting but beautifully presented. Also loved the old house much better..so friendly, this one sinister and dark.Also..where on earth do you find an advive counsellor and supporting family who sort your life out and forget lies and theft etc?
Where did all the farming go? This series was so weird. Running around after other people like Cathy - who was running the farm?! lots of scenes appear to be missing too?
Yeah! I'll say! Kinda turned into a soap opera. And lots more MUSIC....bup-dee-bum-bum..doodle-dum-dum ...every 5 minutes. The only thing that never changed was Faith's hair..
Unrealistic about farming. Realistic about human emotions, at least amongst well intentioned people. Their problems are agonizing, not even entertaining, but I persevere. And Molly is such a dear! I hope the actress is just a little bit like the character she plays. She's an adult now. The character must be a hard, almost impossible, standard to live up to. But that standard is a gift. I also hope she's had children, maybe a girl...
On the increased acerage Brian will be entitled to receive a Rural Payment of around £90 an acre. I heard 40 acres mentioned. Plus if when registering with the Rural Payments Agency, Brian ticked the box as a new farmer, he would also receive and additional 25% on top of the £90 totaling about £4500 in todays money. Tax payers money that every farmer with more than 25 acres is paid. So that is why it looks like he has gone into growing cereals not veg
i don't understand why Cathy stole money if she's such a good sort, and why nobody has to say anything about it. And giving Dad a second chance. . . why is that good advice? I thought once a narcissist always a narcisisst.
There are "tropical" plants in the shattered greenhouse. (No tomatoes!) For a story that supports organic gardening... Perhaps the production should have included a botanist.
I really like this show but I get tired of shows that act like everything is the parents fault all the time. Also, Brian has rage issues and yells too much.
OF FOR GOD'S SAKE...all just emotional drama and MUSIC... What the hell happened? Marcus or Sarah should have had an unplanned pregnancy and moved in with the parents by now..... that would have kept it real. We need a cute little baby to fall out of the cot or get the flu or cral off when no one's watching! Problems are getting too adult. And the endless love issues with Sarah & Marcus! Enough!!
Oh the anxiety you get when Tony Hadley shouts at you while riding a horse
Gotta love a bit of Tony Hadley on a horse! Thanks for sharing
This series remains magical. What a wonderful thing that is during the ongoing turmoil here in the USA. Thank you
Another episode where the kids can't mind their own business and Brian rants and raves about something.

I was just going to say about the stolen money, it was never mentioned !!

yes not realistic at all....maybe because it was 2002?
Before tomatoes exploded on the scene?
I really like this show but I get tired of shows that act like everything is the parents fault all the time. Also, Brian has rage issues and yells too much.
sooooo, now in new house, but no garden plots or wat they had at old place, apart from tomatoes in the old greenhouse. so how they making a living?
Now they have time for dancing!

Not too many animals either.
Just an occasional "quack quack" in the sound TRACK.

What happened to the Talent Show?
This show is very entertaining but unrealistic. How many problems can one family have
and survive especially all in one episode!!!
LOL!
Who else came for the webtoon story-
Brian needs to do more farming and less fighting
the singer from spandau ballet?
Tony Hadley!
