I find the Hindustan Times to be a reliable source on international affairs. I turn to Max Blumenthal's channel for truth about the Israel conflict. The TV is not the issue, it's the programs that require discernment.

It’s not about population control in terms of numbers, but about what the population is allowed to participate in. The world was starting to become wealthier and allowed us proles to start entering the spaces normally reserved for the elites (aka the aristocracy). They hate sharing the beaches, restaurants, highways and nice neighbourhoods with us. So they’re enacting policy to price us out.
Unfortunately this is an area that seems to slip under the radar to a large degree in both opposition politics and the MSM. Nobody gives it the attention it needs so more people will get clued in about the WEF and the harm it is causing to Western democratic countries.
People need to realize when a Liberal or NDP politician talks about something being good for the economy, they are only referring to the amount of taxes the government can collect. If you have no home, food, way to stay warm, or hope, no problem, the economy is good because we are collecting more taxes.

As an independent, former blind Liberal supporter, I agree. PM Harper's immigration policy was much better overall. As an independent, former blind Liberal supporter, I agree. PM Harper's immigration policy was much better overall. The Liberal Party went to extreme opposite position when minor adjustments and/or fine tuning would have been much more appropriate. Yes, Syria policy was originally well intended. That said, massive expansion without consideration for logistics, housing, job, infrastructure, and social integration was shortsighted and foolish. As a voter, I foolishly assumed all those issues where well managed and considered at the administrative and bureaucratic levels. Apparently not, or it was a foolish voters import strategy. Either way, the results are the same. One in the hand is better than two in the bush. Neoliberalism run amuck. Regardless, many opportunities have been created to clean up the mess. Painful short term without question. In the long term, there is an opportunity here to bridge divides and heal old wounds or continue divisive political warfare. My vote is building unity and strength. We all have far more in common than the external global challenges we all face.
