I scraped the shit out of my feet last time I wore those low cut shoes out there, how did you handle it? From my experience you're definitely on the money with those lures, and heading out to the channel. My issue is days where your lure just pulls in weed over and over. Great video mate 👍👍
they weren't pleasant shoes to wear that's for sure. These lures are excellent for a place like Thompsons beach, and when it pulls over weed it can be annoying
@@southauzziefish4083 I made the mistake of wearing them on my last trip, I also own a pair of the higher cut boots from BCF. I'll be wearing that version with some socks next time I head up there, last time I did that I had no chafing at all. Thrashed the socks tho! 😁 Good luck on your next trip.
We walked far out as it was low tide, on high tide you don't need to walk far at all. Using live worms will work well for yellowfin whiting. However a cockle and running sinker should also do good
Never thought there’d be fish like that in the shallows at Thompsons beach crazy stuff love it 👍🏼
Wow south auzzie fish this is such a great video

Great video mate, what's the best time of year to go out an fish Thompson's beach?
usually, mid-spring through to the end of summer is the best time to go. Hot weather is key for yellowfin whiting
What lure were you guys using? Very nice session bro!
Was a great session, I was using the bassday sugapenn surface lure, excellent for topwater whiting and other species!
How far out do you need to walk? Is a light running sinker with cockles or work ok?

Was it on low or high tide ?
this was on the low incoming tide
