Imagine if gamefreak made a new pokemon game for their anniversary and it was in the style and sound of the gameboy as a love letter to fans. A new game involving the original 151 pokemon again but in another region of japan near kanto, keeping it a small project to see how far they can go and also seeing if fans new and old are interested in the retro-style of the originals? If it's successful they can add the rest of the pokemon and create demakes of gen 6+. Eventually branching off to their own regions and stories. The best part? The pokemon can be traded back and forth with the main-line 3d games. It would be amazing.

I wish they would release the new garbage games in two versions. They could release the shit 3d one that this new gen of imbecils loves and a second one in the 2d sprite style that would look actually good and have probably even more content.

Gen 2 sprites and design were always my favorite
Generation 6 has some very underrated music. Hopefully you will get around to the doing the XY elite 4 theme and Lorekeeper Zinnia. Love the content!
