Structures turn into Amon's unless there is no path available to the player. When there is no path available to the player, the AI is allowed to go against the mutator Eminent Domain and players' buildings destroyed by the AI will no longer be taken control of until a new path to the player is formed. Of course, the difference here is that if the player destroys all of the buildings (which gives all buildings to Amon), then the AI isn't programmed to kill its own structures to form a new path to the player.
thanks, that was the missing link in this vid. but, here's another question, why not use supply depots? sure, costs a little more, but being smaller, means you can better layer them
Yay Lowko playing Hann & Horner! Even if just for a super-cheese strat, I'm super happy to see you finally actually playing my favorite co-op commander. I'm not sure you ever used H&H even once after you did the initial 'meet Hann & Horner' video.
Dude, whenever you were attacking the enemy air units in your base, your hellions (which can't attack air) start shooting the closest enemy: the walls. Get rid of the hellions.
Why can't we have solo content? The Co-Op system is already perfect for it; just have it for a single player, and with different missions. Seriously, there's so much potential!
I beat all three, and the mission packs. I still want more single-player content. Taking the Commanders onto those missions alone is an interesting spin on things, and more than just campaign missions can be used.
You're welcome. Maybe link my Reddit post too? :B I should note that Eminent Domain only works if the unit that destroys them is INSIDE the wall. If they have no ground pathing to player 1's base, the buildings will not respawn. Your framerate is low because of the pathing. The infested hordes are trying to path through your wall, so it's extremely taxing on your CPU. You mentioned that you got an i9, which is actually not that great for this purpose because this sort of thing prioritizes a high clock speed over more cores. So an 8700k overclocked to 5.0+ GHz would do better than your 7900x.
The actual mutation: Low framerate during night. xD Nice video, was really exited that you uploaded coop content again. I always super enjoyed the weekly mutations each Monday.
Some suggestions: 1. Missile turrets actually would be very helpful as long as there aren't any hunterlings and the turrets are out of range of being shot from behind your wall. 2. If there *are* hunterlings, a good substitute for missile turrets are vikings on hold position in various places. 3. Personally, I'd use my air units in the daytime to help destroy some of the structures and cut back on the infested population. 4. Setting some hellions or reapers on hold position right behind your mineral line would help keep your economy flowing. 5. Also, don't use your "all army" hotkey to attack air units. Your hellions can't attack them and instead go after the nearest thing they can attack: your wall.
To help with the framerate, Should have stuck to using the air strikes during the day on buildings. Also, Use 1 airstrike in an area you are going to put down the station instead of almost completely destroying the area with multiple airstrikes and wasting the station. Then at night use the airstrikes on the big clumps of enemies to help reduce the lag, because when you use the air strikes on buildings at night they spawn even more enemies further adding to your problem. Also you could have parked a few of your helions on the outside part of the mineral patch so that they would immediately kill the shields instead of you having to worry about microing the shields while dealing with the hunterlings or other enemies that ignore the walls at night especially since they were the ones killing your walls while you were dealing with air enemies.
Lowko I am still new to Starcraft2 but I found out that you can relly the SVC when they're building structures that way you can prevent the SVC from getting stuck
When you see lowko floating 2.2k minerals and he's complaining that he cant kill hunterlings and doesnt make units. Feelsbadman :( But fun anyhow keep it up Lowko.
Great video. Can you, please, do more of this? :-) Mutation missins are very entertaining, especially when you are struggling with them.... More tries, more fun ;-).
1. couldnt you have shift clicked to attack each structure then move them away? 2. would building the wall on the outside of the barricade work? so your units dont accidentally reach them so easily
Aren't the eminent domain structures supposed to make units? last time i had this mutator and we tried this, we lost because all the wall structures also made units. otherwise - what is the problem of this mutator? is it just because they are not production structures?
In normal gameplay, you kill them at around the same rate that they spawn, so the numbers stay below a certain threshold. With this strategy, they spawn but don't really get killed, so they stockpile into insane amounts. No hardware can properly manage the unending swarm!
I think the improvment to this would be... One assault galleon, no hellions, because they screwed him more than anything else, and all air units are vikings, because no chance of accidentally killing the wall
As the core i9 doesnt have the best single/dual core clock speed it would probably be more beneficial to use something with a higher base/boost clock as quality > quantity in sc2.
@lowko, currently i had a game with my fd he play Tycus. And he ask me for more money, but i dun know how to share resources and control, can u make a short video about it? thx a lot
why not let the infested destroy the engineering bays? That way, you do not have to worry about your guys attacking them after destroying them when they were yours.
From what I understood, the mutation turns every structure destroyed by the enemy/you to amon's so he could just build the wall and after that the infested would destroy it and it would automatically become theirs
The mutation doesn't apply if destroying the building blocks the AI getting to the player. So if the AI kills the building, it will be destroyed if it would cause the wall. That's why Lowko had to destroy them himself
How did they keep getting into your mineral line? Why not just leave some anti-air and anti ground by your minerals to guard it. Also, I'm surprised you didn't duble up on mining out of the 2nd start position.
im prety sure you had frame drop because the AI had a hard time finding a way in,i did this brutation but left the front entrance open so no AI glitching
How about Fenix he can make wall like this right and cheaper cause of his upgrade and he can attack while in day time and recall back to base with fenix
I had played This tactic in last 3 mutations on This map, This is one of the Best tactic when u have a 3 night Defender and u can kill 3 building in 1 Attack So u can kill 1/2 buildnigs in 1 night.
Lowko why have you never asked Blizzard why you keep running into these issues? I dont play much SC2 but i remember this being an issue dating back to Brood War where after a certain amount of units were on the map, the fps would always slow to a crawl.
He said he did that in the video about 24-25 minutes in, they can't change it now because they'd have to rewrite the entire engine which would take as long as the game did to make.
Hey Lowko - The problem isn't your hardware, it's your streaming. Try using NVIDIA Shadowplay instead. It's free and uses direct frame capture from your GPU so it has about a 3% hit on overall performance.
When you see the first wall was broken and Lowko doesn't and you want to shout :D
Im surprised he didnt see it. He moved the camera over it like 4 times haha

Oh, that's why he kills the buildings
hmm, interesting. thanks for explaining
Well, that'd explain why he killed his buildings himself instead of just placing them and letting the enemy AI do the dirty work for him.
This is the only helpful comment on the entire video so far.
thanks, that was the missing link in this vid.
but, here's another question, why not use supply depots? sure, costs a little more, but being smaller, means you can better layer them
Lowko and his "static defense". :D

Dang. The Starcraft 2 mobile version looks sick!
Lowko: oh this bomb can hit multiple target! Great!
Also Lowko: still drop 4 bombs for 4 building next to each others
Yay Lowko playing Hann & Horner! Even if just for a super-cheese strat, I'm super happy to see you finally actually playing my favorite co-op commander. I'm not sure you ever used H&H even once after you did the initial 'meet Hann & Horner' video.
Lowko is one of the first youtubers that I ever watched. Love your videos.
Don't forget to smile!
Dude, whenever you were attacking the enemy air units in your base, your hellions (which can't attack air) start shooting the closest enemy: the walls. Get rid of the hellions.
Or just hold position by mineral line.
For reeeeal, I was so annoyed by the fricken F2 army control, which let the stupid hellions attack.
Why can't we have solo content? The Co-Op system is already perfect for it; just have it for a single player, and with different missions.

"Get Out More" made me LOL... XD
i enjoyed the slideshow
The actual mutation: Low framerate during night. xD
Nice video, was really exited that you uploaded coop content again. I always super enjoyed the weekly mutations each Monday.
Lowko. You should have built the walls outside of the barricades so you have more breathing room in your base.
I love when Lowko plays Co-op! Please keep bringing them
i swear those hellions were more unhelpful then helpful, the amount of red engy bays they killed..
Nice job Lowko.
Please make this into a series where you find strats to solo mutations on brutal, it's a great way to add some spice to the coop mode.
Some suggestions:
1. Missile turrets actually would be very helpful as long as there aren't any hunterlings and the turrets are out of range of being shot from behind your wall.

This was a nice and funny approach! 😁👍
I love it, it's they are billions all over again :P
Damn that tunnel vision :D Wont even bother asking Lowko to watch the barriers.
These are the kind of strategies i love seeing in this game coop or PvP.
Why even bother killing them, won´t they get killed?... ;)
One of his structures weren't killed yet, and it didn't matter. They got through anyway.
Apparently the AI wont take control of the structures if there isnt a path. A guy explained it below.
@@ErikaWeiss633 He accidentally destroyed that Engineer Bay with his own troops
Hey lowko! just wanted to say that i looove the playlist u got on spotify, so many good songs ! :D
Bold move Mr Lowko!
Great! Thx for watching my H&H engineering bay barricade tactic! I'm so impressed. As the amazing trick, U can carry Tychus.
Thank you Mr. Lowko I used this cheese to get Tychus from 9 to 11 and my buddy's Vorazun from unplayed to 6. :3
Lowko: "Did I mess up my wall?
SCV: "Eee-yup!"

So much for "GETTING OUT MORE"
Can't wait to see Blaze solo this mutator
I'm just watching the first play through and waiting for Lowko blindness to turn off :D
There is no "off" setting on Lowko blindness.
Lowko I am still new to Starcraft2 but I found out that you can relly the SVC when they're building structures that way you can prevent the SVC from getting stuck
and im sure other's know this too
Halfway into this video: But why don`t build the wall outside your base so your units don't constantly want to attack it?
I think you could have put your magmines on your mineral line to auto clear them everytime the mutator blocks them.
those are some crazy Moo-tations
H&H are my favorite commander. It feels so much like commanding an actual army.
When you see lowko floating 2.2k minerals and he's complaining that he cant kill hunterlings and doesnt make units. Feelsbadman :( But fun anyhow keep it up Lowko.
Desperate times calls desperate measures .... LOL ♥
Great video. Can you, please, do more of this? :-) Mutation missins are very entertaining, especially when you are struggling with them.... More tries, more fun ;-).
Don't tell me your favorite word isn't pannekoeken, lord dutch lowko
And here I thought Lowko can't get any better with thumbnails XD
Mission name "Get out more" ... does EXACT opposite ! Boy oh boy :D
Lowko, have you ever tried reassigning SC2 to different cores? Maybe moving the process closer to L1 will help, hopefully. Love your content, cheers!
0:23 AM time to bed , check youtube see a new video by Lowko , alright then , bring it on!
same story here, ended up going to bed 5:30 am O_O
(1) just put hellions behind mineral lines and hold position, they will auto attack mineral shields
(2) build turret to deal with air units.
you can manually use the repair skill in order to repair enemy structures (at least you could in brood war).
58:09 just like times before, when you didn't see your walls get destroyed ;)
Didn’t you do this once already? As Abathur on the Tarsonis train mission? Or was that just a regular co-op mission w/o mutators?
I can’t complete brutal even in team, you are really great
Hey lowko,do you or anyone know when tychus comes out ?^^
He came out today. Co op is clogged with everyone trying him out
1. couldnt you have shift clicked to attack each structure then move them away?
2. would building the wall on the outside of the barricade work? so your units dont accidentally reach them so easily
Aren't the eminent domain structures supposed to make units? last time i had this mutator and we tried this, we lost because all the wall structures also made units. otherwise - what is the problem of this mutator? is it just because they are not production structures?
Engineering Bays can't produce units.
Your comment has been graced with a reply from lord Lowko himself. Be proud of it.
Cool - i didnt know the mutator cared. Ty!!
If you play Protoss (Karax in particular), would photon cannons that die even be powered once turned to Amon's side?
NO. I tried it out, the cannon was not powered.
Lowko, did you consider building them outside the barricade to give yourself more room?
Is there any reason to destroy your own engineering bays if there's fresh enemies right there to do it for you?
In normal gameplay, you kill them at around the same rate that they spawn, so the numbers stay below a certain threshold.
With this strategy, they spawn but don't really get killed, so they stockpile into insane amounts.
No hardware can properly manage the unending swarm!
I think the improvment to this would be... One assault galleon, no hellions, because they screwed him more than anything else, and all air units are vikings, because no chance of accidentally killing the wall
Could a dedicated nic card, sound card or additional GPU help you lowko thnx.
@lowko, why didn't you just build your "wall" outside of the barricade?
James Strickland
what's the diffence? except of running the risk of scv getting attacked.
As the core i9 doesnt have the best single/dual core clock speed it would probably be more beneficial to use something with a higher base/boost clock as quality > quantity in sc2.
Yup, my 4-year-old i5 doesn't break a sweat in this mutator.
@lowko, currently i had a game with my fd he play Tycus. And he ask me for more money, but i dun know how to share resources and control, can u make a short video about it? thx a lot
Can always turn your graphics settings down for a mission. Im pretty sure most people won't be upset over it
Honestly, Lowko, those helions should have been destroyed after you could build battlecruisers, because they were the ones destroying your wall...
why not let the infested destroy the engineering bays? That way, you do not have to worry about your guys attacking them after destroying them when they were yours.
Missle turrets exist right? Aint that safer than a army vs air?
making starcraft 2 look like it was made in 2002
Do you know, you can actually order your SCV to repair enemy terran units/structures?
Lowko You could simply build the structures and let the infested destroy them for you
yea, right, idk why he didn't let them do it for him
Pretty sure the enemy building does not spawn if a million infested walk straight on the location where it's supposed to spawn
From what I understood, the mutation turns every structure destroyed by the enemy/you to amon's so he could just build the wall and after that the infested would destroy it and it would automatically become theirs
Once the structure is theirs they stop attacking it, but maybe I wrong
The mutation doesn't apply if destroying the building blocks the AI getting to the player. So if the AI kills the building, it will be destroyed if it would cause the wall. That's why Lowko had to destroy them himself

Do you need to destroy de buildings yourself? Shouldn't be the same if the infected destroy them?
The low graphics kinda reminds me of the good old broodwars days
i was screaming all time like: don't use those hellions... XD
dumbest shit ever...
I had this idea but I don't own HnH so I'd have to go like mass air with like maybe swann hercules or something.

Why does he keep arming mag mines on top of them enemies? Doesn't it take like 10 secs to arm?
Vision and distraction
Good there!
The title sounds like its the first time hes soloing a brutal co op mission. We all know he allready did.

If your ally leaves the game, their harvesting workers contribute to your income, Lowko.
It kills me to see you just send the SCVs out there to die.
That was on purpose. I don’t want them mining.
I see
That thumbnail is kinda creepy D:
Took me a moment to realise what it was.
Well, infected terrans are supposed to be creepy, because you know, infection?

Good lord... Why all this hazzle? Just declare Exterminatus!
Oh, i see.
Awesome Job, thanks Lowko!😄
Am I kinda stupid or would hold fire have been super helpful in this one O.o
Just wondering why you didn't use your ally's command centre as part of a wall...
If the enemy destroy that building, it will be an insta-defeat
Oh! I didn't know that. Thanks
I think you can get 5ghz 8600k pc for sc2 and another dedicated pc for streaming for better fps.
Even with a nasa pc you will lag, there is no way of escaping lag on rts games :D
I think you should let the zombie destroy the wall so it turn red by itself
through a bomb when there is too many infested
Thumb is OP
i believe that you can command units to hold there fire
I wonder if they will patch this, otherwise it might be easy way to get achivements
Lowko do you like dark souls I would love to see you play if possible
