Thursday makes the best quality leather white shoes for the price I've ever seen. Had mine for two years now and still look brand new and have held up phenomenally well
The fact that the Common Projects are a little less hyped in 2023 made me finally decide to pick up a white pair. They stand out in how clean they look and for me the fact that most people don't even know what they are anymore is a plus.
Be careful with common projects. I’ve seen plenty shoe tear downs which showed low tier quality leather and construction. They are parading around as high quality. I would trust Oliver Cabell over common projects due to the transparency Oliver Cabell offers.
I dont ever comment on videos but really wanted to say what a great job you're doing. I thought when you popped up on my feed you were a 200k sub channel and just realised how early in your yt career you are. Amazing, keep it up man sky's the limit
Wow, I'm at a loss of words. Thank you SO much!! This means more than you know. Gives me all the motivation I need to keep going💪🏼 What a compliment, thank you again for the kind words of encouragement, it helps a ton!!!
Yeah I got the the Reebok c85 vintage a couple weeks ago. The vintage has a nice worn look and comes off clean and minimal. I get compliments every time I put them on. Definitely a great bar shoe or dress up shoe. It’s been on sale at most retailers. Also, I do love the New Balance 300 Court sneakers. Ultra casual and retro.
@@alexnicoll95Also, check out the Cole Haan Grandpro tennis sneaker in white. It’s off white with a touch of cream accents. It’s a $150 shoe. It’s a very soft leather. Your audience might like it as an alternative since it’s a shoe they can walk in to a store and try on right away. My honourable mention are the Johnston and Murphy Kinnon sneakers in all white. It has a light gum sole. It has a sheepskin lining with a leather upper they made fully breathable. It uses a stretch shoe lace technology that you do not have to tie. Easy for getting on and off. Very clean look. As always, enjoy your videos.
Spot on breakdown. My duo is the Low 1 Oliver Cabells and Old Skool True White Vans... I'll probably throw in a pair of the all white leather converse for ones that I don't mind getting dirty because the canvas material on the Vans are a headache to keep clean
I have seen a lot of videos talking about minimalist white sneakers and I know the Common Projects Achilles Low are overpriced for the materials they use but I have a pair that has lasted over 5 years and although they are beat up they are still my favorite looking shoe, they have molded to my foot and I can’t help feeling like all others are just trying to be the CP.
CPs are the best value in my opinion. The leather feels different even from the other brands in the 200-300 range. I wish it was 100% plain (no gold foil numbering). Even when worn or dirty CPs look great. The leather on Tods and Gucci white sneakers feels different from the 200-300 range sneakers as well.
The stan smiths are picking up in popularity right now too! I've also heard positive feedback from people loving greats as well but I haven't been able to give them a shot yet
How did you miss the Ecco Soft 8? No sneakers beat this ones. They cost around $160 and they're the most comfortable, sleek, well-designed, and built leather sneakers out there that don't look like vans (most of what you've featured). That calf leather lining and solid leather outside. The rubber sole is and innsoles are super comfortable. Sadly, Ecco releases a limited quantity and once they run out of stock, they don't do a restock.
Which would be the most comfortable? I been use to wearing Nike/Adidas… from what I read, these can be heavy and uncomfortable? Thinking of getting my first pair of minimalist sneaker.
Yo I would pick the Axel Arigato clean 90. Its been my go to for months now. Great quality and super comfy. Heres a link! rstyle.me/+vqRHqzI6-Bvd3XjB7jgJTQ
The shoes not from nike They are from a company named “Common Projects” which is really popular in foreign countries like USA. And these shoes cost around 34000 inr
@@alexnicoll95 If you buy a pair of common projects, you wont have to buy another pair in five to six years, the age well and you can have them resole, Oliver’s are a dupes, of the common projects, you can tell right away.
After making the video I regretted leaving koio out because they’re right in between the cost of Oliver cabells and common projects! I’ve never heard of greats though, I’ll give them a look!
You can get Crown Northampton for the price of Koio. Also, a very important thing to note is that koio dropped down in quality as of late. They don't have Margom soles anymore (wich is the industry standard), the leather they use isn't promoted anymore as clalf skin leather (because it never was, we just found out and they removed it from the product features), they also made leather patch on the back of the shoe smaller (where the Koio lettering is) and the box of the shoes is a recycled cheap box (and they claim is for environmental blah blah we all know how that goes, cost cutting for short answer). All that for $300 and at that price just get Crown Northampton, their quality is unrivaled, or just wait for a discount on Common Projects.
@@pooolish334 agree, but to be fair KOIO reduced the price to 245dls, and if you register to koio page they send you a link with a coupon so you can get it for 205dls anyday, not bad to be honest.
The problem with Thursday Boots, Oliver Cabell, Common Project... those sneakers have zero personality, they only think in take everything to the minimum visual, not details or something to make a difference between others, just boring, plain. You look a Stan Smith for a fraction of second a you know it's a Stan Smith.
I just got some Golden Goose superstar they are distressed but not much and the leather is beautiful. Got some Axel Arigato Dice Hi for high tops. I like some design not a fan of minimal. I had Thursday boots, not good at all had a bad experience, I always splurge now with shoes lol.
I do think its worth paying for quality shoes. I was just talking to my buddy yesterday about golden goose and sharing some thoughts there! I might have to get a pair in the future
@@alexnicoll95 For sure, I found you get what you pay for big time with leather sneakers. I love GG consider doing a vid if you do! It is much different style than cp but the construction and matetials are comparable. Liked the video man you deserve more views!

how do you clean them?
I co-sign this. I just bought a different color recently. Great shoes.
Wish they weren’t so narrow.
@@pitchbuckets2860They have wide and extra wide on their website

I honestly agree!! People keep saying the quality is worth the price too. I think I’ll be trying them out down the road sometime🤔

You did the right thing!! CP is the og it’s easy to budget & show pricing etc once some one has paved the way 20 years ago iykyk !!

Ya the c85’s are super clean!! Great rec for the new balance 300’s too, I hadn’t really scene them before. I like them!!

Loake sprint all white is a perfect white sneaker. $275 for perfection
Thursday sneakers, Beckett simonon, Koio, and idrese 🔥🔥🔥🔥 high quality leather $250 and under
You can never go wrong with Tom Ford Radcliffe/Warwick, or Brunello Cucinelli! They're a little expensive, but not highly expensive. Highly recommend.

Yea I haven't heard anyone that owns them say anything negative about buying them so thats a great sign!
I would throw on that list the leather Stan Smith as the low-cost option and also the Greats Royale (I have both and love them) 👍🏼
