Thank you for this demonstration. We got a pair of 6A's the day they were released through Google Fi's Pixel subscription plan. I admit to jumping in before I knew what was in store for us. I've had to make a new investment in higher power charging solutions as a result. The upside is that the Chromebooks that I bought earlier this year also benefit from these chargers, so it's nice to have a unified power solution across my technology now.
I notice how the phone slows down in the final charging and I believe this is the adaptive charging feature to protect battery life. One thing I noticed is that this phone can get hot running. We are outdoors a lot selling at Farmer Markets. With the ambient temperature and running, the phone gets quite warm. I've noticed when I plug the phone into a car adapter (that's not fast charging) it will say connected, but not charging. I wonder if this is the battery protection realizing the phone is hot and not pulling a charge while it's too hot.
Are you using the official Google charger or something like samsung or anker?

Common people don't charge phone from 0% - 100%
Also, charge your phone at 15% and plug out your phone at 80-85 %.
So, your phone will charge quite in a least minutes.
Few Questions, I have to ask
1. Why have you stopped checking the Mobile Temp after 30 minutes of charging?
2. Why the Wifi was turned on while charging the phone? Disabling the Wifi will reduce the charge duration by 5-10 mins correct?
The temperature was constant, so didn’t mention that, there won’t be any temperature change with 18w chargers
Turning off the Wi-Fi will not have any impact on speed
Google be like: Give some rest to your eyes 😂

I don't care if my battery phone gets busted fast with fast charging speed. You can have it replaced. But an 18w charging speed is a mediocre nowadays.
You can't change your charging speed but you can replace battery if it gets busted with fast charging speed.
I am using an Ambrane/Urbn 20W charger from Flipkart. It shows charging rapidly so does that mean it's charging at it's peak 18W ?

Nope. It doesn't matter if you buy a 18W or 120W charging brick it'll only charge at 18W speeds.

Not yet, initial set up there was some heating but right now I don't see any issues
bro . during initial setup you can feel bit warm. after that did'nt faced any sort of heating

I m using mi 10t 33w charger for charging my pixel 6a, charging is fast 1-99 in 1.40 hrs. But when I charge my phone,its temperature will increase around 44°c. But my old poco F1 18 w charger is very slow charging, nearly 2.15 hrs ,but temperature is 34°c . Anyone facing this type of issues, any suggestions for good adaptor?

hi pradeep! i had a k20 pro before this. the phone came with an 18w charger. i have noticed various charging times stragenly. like normally from 60 to 100% it took about 1 hour 30 mins. Today from 20 to 100% it took literally 2 hours and 5 mins. I don't know what's up with these random charging times. But yeah it's never consistent for me.
there are times where it will say 1 hour 10 mins to charge. 5 mins later i look at it and says 1 hour 20 mins to charge. The timing increased and i don't know why. have you noticed this? this happened on both android 12 and 13 for me.

I am facing the same issue, especially the samsung 25watt adapter gets super hot while charging.... When charged with apple's 20watt adapter there was minimal heat
I'm using pixel 4a 18 Watt charger and device is getting hot around 44 C.
@@SandeshMagam at first my phone also got hot while changing and opening camera but after using the phone for some time the issue solved by itself. Dn worry after a week or two it will be solved.🙂
