People will never be able to set a proper example of how a Christian should act. Only Christ is the perfect example...we are called to follow Him, not people. We are all sinners through and through. We mean well, but we are fallible...only God is infallible. And I do believe that I use Christ as my crutch because I lean on Him, use Him for strength and support and He keeps me upright (all the things a crutch does). In fact, He is not only my crutch, He is my whole hospital.. life support!

I love how he set his Delays for the intro. A true user of modulated delay that kids do very little with these days. This guy used Electro Harmonix Memory Mans, I think. Which you could adjust the modulation which gave a chorus sound...which a Chorus is effect basically is. With this pedal, you can adjust it to be real 'wide' on the depth. It sounds gorgeous during his intro chords... I love the tune at Church as well. Such a great feeling guitar riff to perform.

What do you do when your mother is in a mental isntitution and your family blame you? The lifhouse skit comes up in a pop up and saves his life. miracles really do happen. Thank you lord.

No matter how much of a romantic one wnats to be, there is just no way to love someone so pure and wholly as God. It's impossible to equal one's love for another person and God if one is completely true in the love for the Lord (I am not one, but that is how it is supposed to be). ya i didn't know until a couple of years ago. but it doesn't make me think any differently about them. i've been finding that a lot of bands that i listen to are christian bands, but i don't think it should have an effect on how or why you listen to them. music is open for interpretation by everyone, or at least that's how i think it should be.
It's definitely a love song, but that doesn't mean that it couldn't have been written to express love for God. Either way, it doesn't matter. For a song like this, the song is about the person that YOU want it to be about. I'm sure there are plenty of girls that would like to say that the song is about them though.
Being an atheist I'd hate to admit it but this song is spewing about religion and faith. Though in a way (as most art) can be interpreted differently. For me since I have no belief in god (let us be civil) I see this song as anything that I love or how I feel when in love. It's really up to you and what you want to take from this song. That being said I think we should all just agree that this song is great and enjoy it.
