I like your video. My issue is with a condensate pump in an unheated attic. when the temperature is above 20 deg the pump works as designed. heat loss from the house keeps the water in the pump from freezing. when the temperature is below 20 deg the condensate overflows from the pump reservoir into a living space below. The drain pipe for the condensate is about 20 ft long, drains outside the house. The drain line also freezes when the temp drops below 20%. I have considered heat tape, but is not recommended on PVC, or CPVC. Have you an suggestions. Thanks
thanks it looks like u used a 1 inch pipe or inch quarter pipe shooting out on a semi upward angle (after u got it all installed) ,.... wont that cause issues when the 5/8 line conneccts to it...?if it was a short run like 1 foot ok but that lenth wont the pump shoot then water come back?
Many reasons.... in south Georgia my unit won't gravity feed without getting clogged and filling up the pan in the attic which cuts off the unit. This happens 3-4 times a year on a newer unit. There's just so much humidity, too much Condensation and the hose gets clogged very often with just dripping.
Just what I was looking for. Thank you!
You're awesome! Thanks for making these videos!
excellent david thank you for sharing!!!!

Where did you find the barb fitting adapter fitting ? Couldn’t find it
I don't know about wirring connection will u plss show a demo , how we give a wirring connection with drain pump
Why would you put a condensate pump in an attic when you could just gravity feed down?

@@src4409 run a bigger drain to the unit, we dump the 3/4" outlets into 2 inch hubs here in Mississippi. Works fine
