"incredible" is an extreme overstatement. These are all variations on vehicles that have been around for years. Some of them are improvements on the concepts, but that hardly makes them incredible.

I think you're the first one to say correct about the BAE Hägglunds/STV Bv206 (/208 diesel) amphibious capacity, LG! Nicely done! (I've done countless of hours in these here in Sweden since early 1980's.) The only thing that can stop them, what I've learned the hard way, is driving in a mushy peat bog and suddenly be between big hidden tree stumps with perfect fit so you can't turn or go forward or reverse. Then you have to find something to attach the winch to and some logs to build a ramp without drowning . ;D One funny thing about these are if you don't cover the cooling intake in front of windscreen when parked and it rains, then it will be filled with water inside! No problem if driving then you can manually start a bilge pump.

Seriously? You're showing us a truck that can run on railroad tracks? That concept has been around for at least 70 years. Hi-Railer has built hundreds if not thousands of trucks and cars using that basic technology.

I've ridden in an Aquacar...the idea of driving a vehicle out into deep water still bothers me.

It can certainly be a frightening experience to deal with, but try and remember that these were purpose-engineered to avoid problems.

@@LordGizmo BTW "Purpose Engineered" - so was the Titanic.
