Saiyans are one of the strongest race that one can find within the Dragon Ball World. But why is that? Is it because their power levels are so high? Well, actually, no. In the dragon ball world, Saiyans actually have a battle power considered low by most standards. Your upper class warriors, if not Vegeta himself, were no higher than a power level of 4,000. And that was just Paragus and Nappa. According to Frieza in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly Movie, the Saiyans who had their weapons trained on him during his ascension announcement had a battle power of 2,000, which was considered high for a Saiyan. And if we count Raditz, who himself is considered an Elite Warrior, his battle power was no higher than 1,000. Below him was Beets, who would eventually accompany Paragus to Planetoid Vampa to rescue Broly. He was considered a standard warrior, and his power level was lower than the toddler Broly, whose battle power at that time was no higher than 920. This is a hurdle that most humans can overcome on their own. That being said, the events of the Saiyan Saga were actually by far much more than the average race would have to deal with, as most Saiyans were likely about the same power level as Goku and Piccolo were during this time. So if Saiyans don’t have a very high battle power compared to other races, such as the Frieza Race, who seem to be born with monsterous power levels, then why was it that Frieza, and the entire universe for that matter, feared them?

SS4 will always be the best transformation. The black hair + red fur looked awesome. Perfect combo of the primal state and control through training. The god stuff is cool but the shark has been jumped.

And considering that the Ginyu squad elites are far few in between, with Appule being the same, plus consideri g the great ape transformation and the large dependency of Ki weaponry before Super wherein Freeza discovered training, it's much more clear why Saiyans are feared.

This is just head canon but I think grade 4 is just compressing both your muscles and ki into a more smaller form and not letting any ki poor out with SSJ 2 being 2 times Grade 4's power.

@TheAmagiYT You were thinking of El Manga Legendario, and the whole "extension of Grade 3" is a mistranslation. Legendary Super Saiyan was designed based on Grade 3, that was the out of universe version.

Head canon: Beerus' hair is not naturally purple. He is always in the "ego" transformation and so it always looks purple.
4:38 i have a theory that the tail stabilizes ki control in a saiyan and by removing it, the body is forced to adapt. ssj can be achieved with or without but most saiyans rely on the tail and oozaru transformation

I interpreted the S “cells” to be referencing genetics. S Genes (S for Saiyan) and Broly has the Saiyan equivalent of gigantism.
And I don’t know where someone said Saiyans were average, it’s referenced several times that their class is determined by their power level as babies and their heritage. The whole reason Goku wound up on Earth was because they send their WEAKEST infants to soften up worlds for conquest.
I will say you might want a disclaimer when talking GT because many more vocal parts of the community will say it is non canon.

Potentially goku strength came from humility where his colleague Saiyan had pride his humility allowed him to learn many techniques from various alien races, masters and deities which allowed him to adapt beyond all his counter parts even though he lost many of his battles he got resolutions which brought about harmony and conflict resolution. Goku character draws inspiration from Buddhism to attain Buddha hood with self personal growth. All his forms were based off legends weather true or not allowed him to break his limits. Ssj 1-2 worked, vegeta didn’t use 3 and 4 wasn’t canon. God form and ultra instinct came from the gods not their natural but all unlocked further things in the base form

I was really enjoying this video until you said that Gohan's beast mode derived from his Saiyan biology when it's literally been confirmed to be a higher version of potential unleashed, dragon Ball xenoverse 2 which is a video game for dragon Ball actually has a ton of Cannon to it and every single race is actually able to go into the beast mode not because it's a Saiyan transmission at all but because it's a higher version of potential unleashed

What if naruto had sukuna instead of kurama and I think how this works, since we don't know much about jugos clan. Maybe sukuna will be the perfect example of how Jugo's clan was created and maybe has his own version of six paths sage mode after absorbing remnants of the ten tails chakra after hogoromo and hamura defeated kaguya.

I prefer all levels of SSJ. A saiyan's natural instinct is to overpower its enemy with pure strength. Being a SSG prevents them from doing that. Even UI backfired on Goku in the Tournament of Power. His anger makes it hard for him to keep his emotions in check.

ACTZHUALLY....Saiyans were feared because of their great ape forms. They get a x10 boost, and in big numbers they can conquer any planet and overthrow any space nazi.
Easily SS4. The best of all worlds.

Adaptation
No SSG is the result of 6x Power of a regular Super Saiyan that has Mastered the Original Super Saiyan Transformation.
For me Super ruined the franchise for me making BP OTT which never made sense. U6 Saiyans are so trash as they have a tingle to go SSJ when the OG version they had to work hard and train crazy. The SSGJ ritual was so GXX. I’m sorry but I can’t respect super.
