Glass are sometimes recycle but very often poorly reuse as concrete filler, dump site road base, filtration media etc. You need to consider its weight too. More expensive and more petroleum products consummed for transportation. Plastic is very bad, but alternatives are not as easy as it seem. The first thing to do is reduce consumption.

А как заготовка превращается в баклажку, горячим воздухом расширяют?
заготовка - преформа, нагревается лампами, а внутри пресс-формы раздувается просто сжатым воздухом, горячего не требуется. Давление выдува 7-8 бар.
