Amazing what a good set of directional antennas will get you... 👍🏻 ( deleted and reposted to get rid of the stupid flexfilm or whatever scambots that were infesting the post )
I was a bit more impressed with the omni's on the cheap-o reciever to be honest. I wasnt expecting them to reach 3 miles out. Good day for RF I suppose.
@@tylerelliottFPV Insane!! Can this be waterproofed ? as I want to run one of these with a T-REX onboard a large RC Racing Yacht. I have a GoPro 8 Black for main DVR
@@tylerelliottFPV Ahh Thanks man, You just gave me an idea that will still allow sufficient airflow giving that these boats are only moving 1 - 6mph on average. SUBBED. Cheers from Australia man, Take care 👍
Latency is bad for freestyle flying. But casual cruising around or long distance exploring is just fine. The video player you use seems to make a big difference too with latency. I use a program called Debut, seems to work ok.
@@tylerelliottFPV okay cool I'm also looking at the eachine ev800d googles it's seems like you can also use it as a fpv monitor also. As I'm now getting into fpv I need something with 0 latency so a fpv goggles is the best way to go. Thanks
@@leveltruth132 The EV800 was the first set of goggles i used. They work just fine. Battery is a little small. So you have to recharge after every outing. But they are a good first set.
@@tylerelliottFPV Everyone says use Debit, looks like I'll have to open the wallet and get the full $ version. That was impressive range you got out of the Skydroid diversity.

Yes sir can't wait to hook mine up to my chromebook 😎🤙
Works great as long as you don’t mind a little latency.
@@tylerelliottFPV is the skydroid fine without the antenna upgrades?
@@tylerelliottFPV also how much distance did you cover?
That was awesome... how many mW is the VTX on the Drone mate?
Thanks.
It’s a 1+ watt vtx.

@@Top-Jimmy you would probably have to make a waterproof case to put it in.

Did skydroid sponsored you in any way? If not then my first fpv for rc cars will be without goggles and a 2watts vtx+ that skydroid android
skydroid did not sponsor this video
Same thoughts over here. Good analog goggles are just too expensive (relatively) compared to digital. Might as well just move to digital.
What do you think about the latency is it good for fpv??
