SooSoo is such an impressive third party company, perhaps one of the best out there at the moment! They've got a great headsculpt artist with them, but i appreciate them the most for their costume engineering, and i think they should get someone like YongBum to really showcase it with some great poses for their promo material. Personally, i feel the SooSoo head on the Toysera body looks a little better in the way the material catches the light, but you'd probably need to stick to museum poses with that set up. Great job on the vid!

I've been anticipating this figure so much! Hot Toys Jango Fett and this robin have been the figures I want the most.

great looking figure! I love how they have done the hair strands, it looks awesome. I also love the fabric of the costume and how it looks. I can understand why companies might like to use the rubberized material since fraying could be an issue but real fabric has so many advantages. thanks Justin!

Hi Justin! Hope you are well. I so appreciate this incredible armor. I’m not entirely familiar with how this character is supposed to look in this version but I’ve always loved Batman and Robin. It’s nice to see a different depiction of him and it looks great. I also am loving SoSo toys more and more. Whether this is licensed or not this figure is so much fun to look at and I imagine even more fun to display.

Never watched the show, but this figure looks fantastic. Not sure HT could do much better, honestly. Would love a Pfeiffer Catwoman and Devito Penguin by SooSoo.

I purchased the soosoo toys figure as well and think it is far superior. I do like how the soosoo headsculpt looks on the toys era body, but I do like the soosoo better overall. The only complaint I had was that the robin emblem was slightly messed up. So what I did was carefully cover that emblem up and place one of the 3 throwing stars that came with him over where the emblem was. I shaved it down a little so it would look like it was in the suit and it rlly did work if you were willing to go that route

Personally I'm really hoping for a Wonder Girl figure. I kinda lost interest in the show after the first season, but would still pick her up since she was so memorable.

Just picked him up from eBay for $230. Super excited to have a robin in my collection and one that's great like this. License aside soosoo toys giving not toys a run for its money.

Not sure why I'm just seeing this review but this figure is amazing. Though I'm not too keen on owning the Robin suit, I'm definitely gonna pre-order their Nightwing variant - which looks to be the exact same sculpt!

Something I really wish they included with this figure would be a retracted Bo-staff like the one before it extends it would have been the piece de resistance like that iconic scene in season one where he whacks those guys with it then extends it and knocks them out still a great figure though

I think DC really needs to take a look at working a license deal out with SooSoo Toys. This review plus The Green Vigilante show they are knocking the figures out of the park. The quality on this figure looks absolutely top notch. I can't wait to see their Nightwing as he is perhaps my favorite DC character. Great review Justin, and thank you for always making your quality top notch as well.

I do enjoy the Toys Era dark shading painting, but Soosoo is superior. Specially in the sculpt.

SooSoo could have made the staff in two pieces, allowing you to secure it in-hand in a much easier fashion. But it's still a gorgeous figure.

Great Review! He looks awesome! How do you feel about the leg movement? I feel it looks a little hindered due to the tightness of the costume. Do you think they should have made the fabric a little more loose or does it still work well in poses?

Sosa Toys Robin definitely looks a lot better and more accurate but since he’s not Robin anymore I don’t feel the need to get him so I’m going to wait on the Nightwing version. What I would say for the Toys Era Robin is he can definitely be used for just a younger Robin that you could pair with movie Batman since there is no visual version of him in the movies. Then I would pair the Soso Titans Nightwing with the movie Batman and then have the Toys Era Robin as the Robin for the movie universe…..and there you have the Bat family

The only thing that I like about the Soso toys is the head sculpt, the costume looks a lot better in the Toys Era figure, I don't like the fabric costume in the Soso (reminds me of a Pijama with a vest and a belt)
