My wife’s grandfather was on “Our Gang” when it was shot down. At 51 seconds in your video he is kneeling on the front row , third from the right. His name was Lloyd Thomas. He survived the POW camp and returned to SW Missouri where he worked as a letter carrier with the US Postal Service. The pilot, Wheeler, wrote a book called shootdown about the experience.
