Jefferson is a lowkey A signing. He didnt get targets cause of Kupp trying to chase records. But he is definantly a weapon for the Steelers. Speed and route running is exellent and he adjusts to the play really good. Comes back to the QB or makes moves to get open when the pocket collapses for his QB to outlet to. Like the pickup

So is Calvin Austin. If you can't run routes, it doesn't matter. I'm very concerned about the WR situation. You're not going to get real, immediate help via the draft either.
Calvin Austin is a good route runner, just ask Sauce…so is Van…GP is also one of the best receivers period…Miles Boykin is also depth…we are still getting a splash piece too…

What I like the most about Jefferson is he's a long baller, which will compliment Pickens... also next to last clip is the catch near the end zone, fell on the catch, wasn't touched, didn't give up on the play and TD!! That's the caliber of a great WR! hope he can block too...
From a rams fan he's a solid receiver who can make plays when he's required to, not flashy or nothing just solid, he just sometimes struggles with consistency but he's not a receiver who spends all game locked up or drops passes he'll be good when you need him to be
Also wanna mention most of these highlights were during our superbowl run he wasn't playing exactly like this for us this year

@@Unstoppable_97 Well the way I look at it. He can catch long passes. Diontae Dropson was 50/50 type player with a drama ego attitude who bargain 24 mil on his contract... Diontae either made or drop catches....It was really frustrating watching diontae play, because idk if he was going to make the catch or not.... With Jefferson he looks like he is more positive attitude type of player and not so negative like diontae....

He's okay, not horrible. A solid 4th receiver. Steelers WR room is bare. Pickens is a beast, but Calvin Austin III is a specialty receiver not an every down guy. He's very small and cannot withstand much physically. A few plays a game. Steelers have work to do. They signed a big name QB.....gotta get him receivers to throw the ball to, period.
