That looks beautiful. I would certainly love to receive that as a gift.
Thanks 😁
Beautifully done and well explained 👏
Thanks a lot 😊
What a great present. 👌🏻
I think it is 😁🎄
Nice. Just need a couple of tiny round magnets at the finger grip to keep it closed.
Good idea!
Really nice project mate. Looks great!
Thank you very much mate
Super pudełko 😊
Dzieki wielkie 👍
Nice project Tomasz, looks 👍
Thank you very much 😁
Excellent project Tom😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful grain pattern Tomasz and a fantastic looking box 👌, I'm sure the recipient will love it, great job 😍
Thank you kindly 👍
Great job my friend and not a laser in sight 😂😂 fantastic bit of woodwork 👍👍
Lol thanks 😅
Stunning box, Tomasz! Really amazing work! 😃
My tea is a mess... I should probably make something like that as well! 😂
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
And happy holidays!
Great project to make mate. I'm now thinking of something similar for spices 🤔
@@CasualDIY Oh, I absolutely need to make something like that as well... My spices are in even a bigger mess! 😬
I've been cooking for around a year... My mother never liked it and now she's in love with my food, so... 😬
@@MCsCreations well its a must project
A great project. I wonder if some sort of stay to stop the lid from folding back too far would be a good addition.
Hmm could do. You can buy those sets hinges plus a small brass chain for example 🤔
Very nice.
Thank you! Cheers!
Gorgeous, but now you can't use the teabags as it'll spoil the look of it 😁 ... agree with others who've said about a stay to stop lid going back too far, a simple piece of ribbon would work perfectly (fixed to top and side).
Only one thing I'd have done differently, I'd have done the little finger cut on the top of the lower section, that way you'd have slid your finger under the top and lifted 👍
I've ordered a nice brass chain and a pin for it so that's my solution for it. However I do like the ribbon ideas as well 👍
Thinking about it now I like your idea of the position of the finger cut out more 😅
Well its a learning for a next project, a spice box 😁
@@CasualDIY It's always easy to suggest different ways of doing things when someone has done all the hard work ... the brass chain will work nicely 😁
Usual standard Tomasz! Why didn't you use your biscuit jointer to cut the slots for the splines?
Just wanted to use my jig and I missed my Rage 5s so it was a good opportunity to use it 👍😁
Great work 👍
And as somebody wrote before - gladly no laser.
Skydd isn't available here in Germany any more 😢
I always used...
😅 thanks, that puts me in a pickle a bit🤔 I want to make a cool woodworking project, simple really but the ease of it is a router template. So I wanted to use my CO2 Laser to cut out one template for me from acrylic. But now I think I'll show how to use my printable templates to make a let's say mdf template and the acrylic template will just be a background (I will show what's possible). I know that acrylic router templates are quite popular and speed up the process🤔
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Well done T. It looks really good. I do agree with @PipCritten, a stay of some kind would be extremely beneficial.
I've ordered a brass chain with some brass pins 😁
