Instead, it had brought up more questions in the minds of the public and even surfaced incriminating evidence to their crimes. In KS's speech, he affirmed that CPIB only " look through" his phone and did not find any relevant information because he had his phone set to "delete messages". This might have shown KS's intent to obstruct justice by destroying key evidence to all his alleged crimes. I am urging PM Lee to reopen the criminal investigation into KS and VB citing the new revelation. CPIB must raid KS and VB to detain and use digital forensic technologies to retrieve all deleted files as soon as possible before all data are lost permanently. If the two ministers are found to have committed crimes, they must be trialed and punished with the full force of the law. If PM Lee refuses to reopen the criminal investigation, then the public must conclude that the PAP in no longer incorruptible. This will mean devastating consequences for the PAP in the upcoming general election.

If that is so, then if and when an opposition finally wins the right to govern, how can we believe the CPIB will not be in the pocket of that government? The relevant department - land authority - what did they say? Did they provide evidence for one conclusion or the other? When taken to CPIB, what was their conclusion? Did they provide evidence and conclude on a different verdict? Taken to Teo Chee Hean, also now what’s his investigations verdict. If it’s not concluded they did wrong doing, time for another investigation. If still conclude no foul play - no - investigate from a different independent entity until we find something. Still no? No condemnation? All the investigations so far are one sided for the PAP. Do another investigation until we find them out as criminals and send them to jail. Tomorrow, no evidence, continue next month. Next month no evidence, try again and again within the year. One year no evidence? No! Every year we must check if the ridout saga has any paper trail or witnesses and first person accounts that there was wrong doing. If we don’t find out by then, we aren’t trying hard enough. In KS's speech, he affirmed that CPIB only " look through" his phone and did not find any relevant information because he had his phone set to "delete messages". This might have shown KS's intent to obstruct justice by destroying key evidence to all his alleged crimes. I am urging PM Lee to reopen the criminal investigation into KS and VB citing the new revelation. CPIB must raid KS and VB to detain and use digital forensic technologies to retrieve all deleted files as soon as possible before all data are lost permanently. If the two ministers are found to have committed crimes, they must be trialed and punished with the full force of the law. If PM Lee refuses to reopen the criminal investigation, then the public must conclude that the PAP in no longer incorruptible. This will mean devastating consequences for the PAP in the upcoming general election.

Well, let's hear what was investigated and what the findings are. As PM says "when it comes to corruption" we have independent investigations, but that is not the key point here, right? And PM goes on to say, it is up to the PM to judge. Let's hear his take on this, not more and more of that "there was no corruption". If a minister approaches a civil servant for information for personal use, what does that say about misconduct and is a high level of integrity demonstrated?
Let's assume the CPIB is in the pocket of the PAP. If that is so, then if and when an opposition finally wins the right to govern, how can we believe the CPIB will not be in the pocket of that government?
If we continue on this tack where we constantly question and never trust our authorities, how are we going to maintain a society other than one that is always filled with mistrust?
Today, such societies abound, especially from those that claim to be democratic and allow unhindered free speech. But they count themselves amongst the most dysfunctional. In fact, they are also proving to be the most corrupt. Because a society that is fractured and divisive is actually the most fertile ground for corruption.

The relevant department - land authority - what did they say? Did they provide evidence for one conclusion or the other?
When taken to CPIB, what was their conclusion? Did they provide evidence and conclude on a different verdict?
Taken to Teo Chee Hean, also now what’s his investigations verdict.
If it’s not concluded they did wrong doing, time for another investigation.
If still conclude no foul play - no - investigate from a different independent entity until we find something.
Still no? No condemnation? All the investigations so far are one sided for the PAP. Do another investigation until we find them out as criminals and send them to jail. Tomorrow, no evidence, continue next month. Next month no evidence, try again and again within the year.
One year no evidence? No! Every year we must check if the ridout saga has any paper trail or witnesses and first person accounts that there was wrong doing.
