Another splendid mini-masterpiece and song choice Chris, ‘The Language of Love’ is understood whatever the language is spoken …. and your videos convey this through Sam & Caitriona’s superb acting skills and their expressions of facial and body language unique to them …. I would love them to make more movies together …. Like the great twosomes of the past …. you will know who I’m speaking of …. Gone With The Wind …. was my favourite:) frankly my dear I don’t give a dam …. was a great ending 🥲it’s many years since I last watched this movie, hope I’ve remembered it correctly 😅 Sam would make a great Ret Butler type:) Bernice 🥰🥀🤗
Thank you my friend. You're right, the language of love knows no language barriers. It's the same in every language. Ultimately, my videos and the songs I used only emphasize Sam and Cait's masterful performance. They make their skills shine even more ✨💗 I have to confess that I've never seen Gone with the Wind. I don't even know why, it never happened 🫣. Shame on me, I should catch up 🎞️📽️🍿 Take care, see you next time 🌸 Chris 🌸
@@tunes4pics Not surprised you haven’t seen it, it’s as old as me (1939) Clark Gable played the character Rhett Butler and Vivian Leigh the tempestuous Scarlett O’Hara:) Clark Gable was very swoon worthy like Sam:) I’m thinking of watching it again for old times sake 😍 see you next time 🤗
Oh Chris! This video and song really got to me! You did a masterful job of pairing the iconic scenes of Jamie going thru hell thinking of Claire and missing her so much! As you said the music and vocals were so sad with so much longing but also were sexy and emotional! The moment when Jamie looks at Claire after waking up after he fell at the Printers and he says her name “Claire” and the look on his face was such great acting and really conveyed sheer disbelief but it also showed the love and relief that she was with him once again! I just loved that! To me this video Chris is one of your best maybe even the best and you know why--it just carried me away to the relationship of these two amazing characters and just left me emotionally drained but also so jubilant that I am part of this Outlander universe and I get to experience all that it has to offer! Thank you so very much! All the hard work you do is very much appreciated! 😢🤍💙🙏🏻👏🤩
Aww Diane, thank you so much for your warm words 🥹💗. My goal is achieved when the videos carry you away, into this wonderful world of Outlander, into the great love story of Jamie and Claire, when you experience their emotions, your hearts break with sadness or happiness. It seems to have worked. This song is really fantastic and it works so well, it intensifies the emotions and yet brings in freshness and lightness through the jazz influence. It delights and amazes me immensely how positively you receive and feel the German songs. Maybe it's partly due to the subtitles. It's a completely different way of watching the videos. Maybe you even have to watch it several times because at first you can't concentrate on the text and the pictures at the same time. Maybe the subtitle intensifies because what you read is in line with the images you see. I don't know. But the time, work, thought and love that go into the videos are all the more worthwhile when I touch you with them. Thank you ❤️💜🩷🧡🙏🏼🥰
😭😭😭😭This one *kills* me. I love it so much! The music (fabulous) the theme and the scenes work together with an unusual synergy. ❤ Everything about it tells Jamie's story in such a haunting way. You see his broken-hearted despair, isolation and desperate loneliness for the one he's lost - Claire, her name was Claire. 😢 You see Jamie stacking up the days, just getting by, "taking one step and then another". This helps me see more clearly the deliberation of everything he did during that time. He *made* himself exist and survive, even though he was an empty shell of a man. And he did this for 7 years! 😓 It was unbelievably strong of him to keep breathing in and out for so long in such a broken state. But then he gave himself up for the sake of his family and went to prison! Those scenes hurt. I saw his anguish magnified through the song. We know he found some solace in his men and being able to look after them, but his heart was always heavy and hollow. We can see that plain as day. But what is really interesting to me is even knowing that he'd lost her for good, he still constantly dreamed and hoped within himself that she would return. He even said so. "I saw you so many times in my dreams." It's so real. When you've lost what you have loved with all your heart, it's so human to fervently wish, dream and hope that what you long for will return to you. In the end we see that his dreams *did* come true. Miraculously, she returned. And my heart broke all over again. But this time for the beauty of it and for the fact that the suffering we saw so vividly earlier in the video, did come to a happy end. This may be one of my favorites ever. But then again, I think I've said that before. You're a master at this, Chris. I'm so glad you're here! 🙏🙌😘
Thank you, I'm delighted that you like it so much🥰🥰🥰. It's an unusual song choice, but I love this song and it really seemed like it was made for Jamie's story. Add to that this jazz influence, - it worked wonderfully. The piano, the strings and wind instruments, but also the drums... everything seems to be in the right places and reinforces what the images convey. Everything fell into place during creation. It was great fun to create the video. It's wonderful that it evokes exactly the emotions that I wished for and felt myself when creating it. But to be honest, I no longer expect anything else from you. You always understand what I'm trying to say (almost always 😉😁, but exceptions prove the rule) 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️💜🩷🧡💛🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This is lovely. I love that you’re using music from different countries. You’ve done two in German so far? Music of all kinds breaths the love and soul into your work. Nicely done ❤.
Thank you Sarah 🙏🏼🥰 No, this is my 4th with a German song. I'm really pleased that these videos are also going down well. For us, it's normal to listen to music in another language. Probably not for most English speakers. It's exciting to see the reactions.
