I'm sure hunter will continue to get better (as he has since getting on the 450), but as of right now, chase seems to have more speed on average than hunter. Maybe I'm wrong but Sexton seems to be able to pass hunter at will.

Who knows about all of this. Star was probably running 260+ kits in the 250’s, Honda probably has some F1 technology engineered for the starts, the AMA leadership is bought and paid for so they selectively pick and choose who and what to fine, or suspend, or bring to inspection. I’m sure some people know what’s really going on, but they will receive the Boeing whistleblower treatment.

Racing doesn't go as planned. Chase is without a doubt the fastest rider that has ever thrown a leg over a bike! 40th to 1st won't ever happen again that was a bail out crash from jett. Saved him millions. If I were his fan I'd at least hope he did that dumb crap on purpose impossible.

Correct. And he explained it further on one of his Weege shows. The track was open practice to anyone the day Star rode there. People just assumed since they ride there that it was a private rental but it was a practice day open to the public.

Why would that be the cause? His shoulder is fine until late in the day/motos after he’s been pushing it hard. He wouldn’t be training that hard while having a shoulder issue enough to make it become an issue. He could have just had a tip over and landed on his hand wrong and that would have nothing to do with the shoulder. Yall gotta stop trying to always make excuses or try and put things together when they don’t go together. It’s motocross, it’s a rough and dangerous sport and riders go down whether injured or healthy and get other injuries.
Yea the sound test is dumb asf outdoors there is literlly zero point in doing it, now if it was SX then maybe due to indoor facilities that would be understandable but these rules are a joke!

Nothing wrong with putting them in the middle. Thats how most everything does from RUclips channels to tv shows. You take a small “break” in the middle to break the video up and give a shoutout to those who help keep him being able to do this. Not sure why it matters where he puts them and at the end would be dumb because nobody would listen thru til the very end if he did that.
Just listened to swapmotolive with rick johnson and grant langston and they mentioned how sad it was that james stewart and jeffrey herlings were untouchable before they started accumulating injuries , and even when they came back each time it seemed to add up and take a toll on them
every injury adds up...especially in the mind; injuries tend to make ya try to ride smoother but still be at the pointy end of the field; problem is there's only so fast ya can ride while still being smooth; as soon as ya make a mistake or push just a little too hard, many injuries remind us what happened last time we went just a little bit too fast.

I wrote on Daniel Blair's channel Monday that I thought Jett's shoulder is messed up bad enough that he may have to have surgery after this season after that sub par performance last weekend. If he indeed has a new injury that was likely caused by riding with his previous injury. Who knoe's with Honda, they are secretive. Could just be the shoulder and he needs surgery on that now. Either way, THAT SUCKS! Jet was my boy!

Definitely wasn’t his shoulder that’s the issue, it’s a torn UCL in his thumb… he wouldn’t be going all the way to Colorado to the same exact place Webb and Tomac went if it was his shoulder. And I highly doubt his shoulder issue had anything to do with him hurting his thumb. Believe it or not, riders go down, even when they have other issues with their body and those issues don’t always have anything to do with it.
Nothing illegal done as far as deegan is concerned. I believe honda is behind a lot of these things. Chase being tested and now the sound check when Honda is being beat in the 250 class. Silencers do not make a rider bring that whip/slip back under the rider. 3db doesn’t chase down the top guys after a crash either.

Nah, Anderson won’t be around Hunter for one and second, Anderson doesn’t currently have a reason to do anything to him. He took out Hunter in sx (although I think it was fine but I’m sure he understands why Hunter would have been mad at the time mid race about it in SLC) and then Hunter got him back when Anderson went to lap him, so they are even now. Just because they don’t like eachother doesn’t mean Anderson is just going to try and do something to him anytime he’s around him. Only reason he did what he did to Jett was because Jett tried taking him out at SLC after what he did to Hunter so now him and Jett are even as well in his eyes. These guys are worried about racing, not taking one certain rider out when there’s not currently any reason for him to do so. Yall stop making shit up

If I'm not mistaken the track what's flooded a few days before the race. They have the track guys working on it in the pouring rain. It was like flash flooding damage. Basically Hayden was practicing on a different track surface. Some of the writers said there were big rocks deep down. Also another surface under the top layer.
Took longer than usual but Jett pushing the limits has caught up to him. Sooooo many close calls, he'll never be the same. Ask Bradshaw, best comparison I can think of.

I think the tracks have to keep the pipes in check because of deals made with the towns. Southwick is especially close to a lot of homes.

Deegan is always said to be loud. Everyone says you know a star Yamaha is behind you because they're the loudest bike. Kitchen said literally he knows when Deegan is there because he revs the crap out of his bike. Nobody cares how loud it is. If anything, it's a safety bring loud.

Maybe the muffler has special packing, that progressively wears out the more it’s ran and repacked right before sound.
How does a 5 day rule specifically target privateers? We all watched the weege show and saw the amount of locals that got to ride press. Locals shouldn't even need press because it's their backyard.

Why would he rest it when he’s on the middle of the season and wasn’t way up in points and has 2 guys that are matching his speed? You’ve gotta still put the work in, injured or not. Most of these guys have some type of injury they are dealing with and still out there practicing and training every day, it’s what you do. And he has said his shoulder is fine until late in races or near the end of the day and he’s not going to be riding at that level in practice so I don’t his shoulder was bothering him and had nothing to do with him tearing his UCL. He could have literally just fell over in a turn and landed on his hand the wrong way and tore it. If you aren’t going to go out and train during the week, then there’s no point in finishing the season because you aren’t going to be able to just not train and just go out and win every wkd at this level. Quit being a puss

That is what mostly ended up keeping them from being the next superstar and that is just something nobody can control or ever will know. Have to agree with the decibel testing. Unless someones exhaust is obnoxious like a cracked pipe like we have all seen at a local race at some point or another it serves no purpose. Being 1 or 3 over should have no bearing on these guys trying to make it.
Went to Pala this year to watch Deegan and Jett. Outstanding racing but...@20 dollars for parking, $70 dollars for spectate the race. I won't be getting ripped off again.
Now it I KNEW FOR A FACT that a large percentage of the spectating money went to the riders, I would be OK with spending $90 once every year to see the best in the world race. Those privateers travel that frigging unnecessary ZIG-ZAG route back and forth across the nation to race the Nationals??? I am not part of that issue, but it annoys me greatly that the AMA doesn't do everything they can to schedule races to minimize privateers' driving.
And the purses? Those boys DESERVE TO BE PAID A GOODLY SUM FOR QUALIFYING, FOR SURE. And the racers' entry fee? Screw that!!! The track owners need to PAY THEM for driving and arriving.
I don't have a problem with capitalism in that I have motorcycle hydraulic clutch business for vintage bikes BUT when I see a huge imbalance in the "game of capitalism", someone or some organization - with a conscience, if there IS such a thing - needs to step in and put a stop to "opportunist fees."
But, for sure, the AMA will not step to say ANYTHING. The promotes will not. The track owners will not.

Absolutely love FMF but feel like they're kind of the biggest offenders. The YZs with the FMF muffles at the track are almost always the loudest and you can't stand alongside the track next to them
