As Ture as that is be happy were at least getting a ending Unlike Infinity train (I didn't even watch that but I still feel bad that it didn't properly end)
then it happens that Disney give the creator the opportunity to make a reboot with all the discarded material but she has to accept the condition of no longer considering the current program canonical and say that the reboot is the canonical program
I seriously hope that Dana Terrance will make a graphic novel or a Manga series for The Owl House as like a spinoff series. There seriously should be more to explore and so much that Dana wanted to have on the TV series.
One idea for a comic or graphic novel I would LOVE is just the emperors coven guards being hilarious. Like in almost every clip their in they say the most funniest things, along with hunter when hitting a coven about he was just like "Sorry man!" Which was amazing Or maybe a comic series about hunter's life around the castle, and around the guards and coven heads
It’s good hopeful thinking but I honestly doubt it. Remember when they did a SVTFOE comic series for a time? Well that got canned shortly after 5 issues so idk. I feel the same case could happen again if TOH got a comic series but better than nothing I guess.
This was great. It's nice to have this before we get promotions for the final episode. I am gonna miss this show when it ends this Spring and I mad at Disney that it isn't a full Season 3, but you know what; I'm glad that we at least have this, that serves as a three part finale that can be combined into an over 2 hour film.
I'm glad to see that this pilot episode, without losing quality, still retains the show's charm, merging satire of classic fantasy with the weirdness of the setting to create top-shelf humor.
why was the animation so incredibly fluid ??? toh’s animation has always been stunning, especially in scenes where frames are amplified. but the entirety of the pilot left my mouth hanging agape from the smoothness of it all
nvm yeah, it was the animation test so that makes sense - totally understandable how they had to condense or water down scenes for the sake of budget !
I do like that they went with staff with their own palisman instead of wands. It does nudge to the fact that Dana Terrance loves Pokemon, and it's pretty cool that most witches have their very own pet like companion.
The way the show evolved with the community to become a legendary series that easily rivals the likes of gravity falls, amphibia and adventure time. The effort the animators and series creators put into this show is so great, it makes me cry with the fact that we only got ONE EPISODE LEFT. This show will always be remembered in our hearts. 🦉🏠❤

This is quite interesting to say the least, it's so perplexing to see how similar yet different the pilot and the show actually are. As well as some strange things we never got to see (or yet to see) like Puppet Luz. Really makes u wonder what direction the show would have taken of we stuck with this version.
that toy Luz coming out of the mirror reminds me of "Yesterday's Lie" meets "For the Future" and could still happen if Liz gets turned in to a toy. idea for video: Things you hope DON'T happen in the last episode along with how likley they are to happen and how you would feel if they did.
A pretty interesting point they made in this trailer was how luz said she was going to steal magic from the best witches and wizards probably showing that if she couldn't simply learn from anyone revealing that either she could never learn it from eda but that no one even her friends could teach her or wouldn't teach her and she would spy on them and try to either decipher the secret of their magic or straight up take some magic from them like the scroll and page we saw which eventually lead her to either creating her own human magics or realizing magic was too dangerous in human hands or that she never needed magic, to begin with switch from magic to self confidence and improving what she can already do possibly proving her own worth and how capable humans really are magic or no magic.
The puppet. It was a puppet. Dana has known all along, even throughout the rough draft of the show, she knew. It was foreshadowing everything. Tbh, I kinda wish we actually got that one clip in the real thing. Maybe every time Luz went into the in-between she saw a glimpse of the future, or all the ways she might die, or a montage of all the bad things that could happen in the end, Then we see the puppet 😊
This feels like an alternate timeline. As the tone and design feels different. Since the multiverse does come into play in certain narratives. I can picture a version of this Owl House existence. More as a what if. Similar to Amphiba-land. Other than that, I hope the current Owl House timeline turns out okay. It would have been interesting to explore this alternative narrative. Sad Owl House is coming to an end. Thanks to anyone who reads this.
I think that perhaps king was always intended to be the way he was, Luz and king just brought into in the “king was once the king of demons” story. So she was trying to learn magic thinking he actually could at one point, while King was trying to impress Luz and refresh his memory to remember the magic he never had
It's funny how Disney treated TOH if you put the events in a timeline, like it's instant karma >>TOH becomes popular among kids and teens (and even adults enjoy the show) Disney: "Gay couple confirmed, then it's time to cancel the show!" >>The fans don't abandon the series and still support it and even more people start to support the show Disney: "Uh-oh, looks like we were wrong about it, then let's take all the money we can get from this show before everything is over!" >>The profit the show could give to Disney would be much bigger if they kept the project ongoing, but now their gold mine has a countdown of one more episode. I SUPER wish we got puppet Luz that came out of the window, but if the team ever agree on a season 4, they should at least put some of these ideas into the show
I think it’s cool that hunters staff that belos gave him foreshadows hunger and flapjack working together when flapjack decides to tag along with him. If you look back at hunters old staff it has a red gem of sorts on the top, and that coronates to flapjack (a red bird, obviously) on his staff, sitting on the top.
It’s interesting seeing what the show was originally going to look like, but fact that the core story was always there is pretty great. I’m also kinda glad they ditched the wands, tbh. The idea of having a spell casting tool and familiar all in one is a great concept. (Plus, Palismen are adorable 🥰)
I wish I could watch the full pilot of the owl house that would be awesome also the red eyes that thing has kind of reminds me of one of the Titan hunters
Huh, so the Pilot has finally come out somewhat? I gotta say, this looks very interesting, makes me wonder what could’ve been, I am fine with what we got, but I think it would’ve been more interesting to get a little of both worlds. You can really see the mabel in luz when she slaps william awake in the pilot 😂 the facial expression and everything i could totally see mabel doing that exact same thing 😂
I wonder if they may reuse the scene of puppet Luz with a creature oozing out its mouth in the finale with Belos doing a goo attack lunging out of Raine's puppet body
Polina, POLLEN-a, pollen, from plants. Plant pollen. She is a plant witch. Willow sounds more sad than Polina, though, which is fitting for her initial story, at least.
Not to give false hope here, but what's Disney's angle in bringing out these animation test for the show? Are they gaging are interest in the show to see if they want to make a follow up series or a movie?😏
This is ot the full pilot and we saw Amity in other Versions without voices and Gus came only recent to the Story he probably didn't even existed back then.
I loved this pilot or episode something it does look way more horrific and different it feels more like alternate universe tip of The owl house I still love the show itself.
Great job perpetuating the incorrect claim that this is the pilot. I’m sure everyone will notice you putting quotes around it and not just presume this is, in fact, the pilot. As you can see from the comments on here 🙄
Ever since I found out about the pilot years ago it was my dream to one day see this but I lost hope that we would. So the fact that this is real and here is a dream come true
It bugs me at how pilots and openings have better animation than the project. Imagine if The Owl House was done by Flying Bark Productions, they could've given us the Season 3 we wanted.
So we could have gotten Ron Weasley instead of Willow Park. Yeah, good choice on ditching the wands. Selling out of her house instead of in town would have given us a very different story beyond just not fleshing out Bonesboro. I'll have to give that animation test a look; it is always interesting to see where they start.
Peep the animation test: ruclips.net/video/yyvdWuUPGZE/видео.html

Great job perpetuating the incorrect claim that this is the pilot. I’m sure everyone will notice you putting quotes around it and not just presume this is, in fact, the pilot. As you can see from the comments on here 🙄
The owl house is in the anime section on disney plus
I really want the darker take
Why is it that eda was selling human items then just stopped?
the eye does blink in the show, but its at the end of the first or second episode
Imagine if we got this on adult swim just think of what they could’ve gotten away with
Ever since I found out about the pilot years ago it was my dream to one day see this but I lost hope that we would. So the fact that this is real and here is a dream come true
It bugs me at how pilots and openings have better animation than the project. Imagine if The Owl House was done by Flying Bark Productions, they could've given us the Season 3 we wanted.
It didn't "just" drop, i's been out there in the world for at least a year, I'd already seen it a year ago. A lot of people had.
it finally is here
So we could have gotten Ron Weasley instead of Willow Park. Yeah, good choice on ditching the wands.
Selling out of her house instead of in town would have given us a very different story beyond just not fleshing out Bonesboro. I'll have to give that animation test a look; it is always interesting to see where they start.
Im rewatching Gravidy falls Amphibia and the owl house before the owl house ends all in order .
