This is so wonderful to know that CCA's Animation Program is flourishing so beautifully! I taught Animation here when the campus was on Broadway in Oakland when David Heinz was the head of film, 1977-1980. Those 3 years of teaching Animation to the amazing diversity of energetic students (then called CCAC) was magical!!! That was the era of film (16mm frame by frame) and all hand crafted work done on paper to cells to all forms of moving sculptural media. And to learn that this school is blossoming with a new campus in San Francisco brings joy to my heart!
