The big thing that I love about this version of instanced housing is that you can still see all the players running around. So, you could look out your windows and see people doing random stuff haha it's very immersive.
As far as i know, if u do not pay the rent, you do not lose your home, you only lose the trophy buffs from your home until you pay all the outstanding rent.
Once you buy a house. It shows yours to you instead of the leading players by points. Until you become the top player, no one else will see yours from the street. That's how it was explained to me in game last night
This game is awesome, I'm not a big MMO guy but this game is super chill, and fun!!! I'm watching your channel learning more everyday about this game ... Keep up all the good work!!!!
you can choose by pure aesthetics or buy a house in the most crowded/marketplace heavy cities. (main storage/crafting hub, territorial standing gain>village buffs, that benefit you,...) ....in general the most popular choices for this are: Everfall (Oxboro) , Windsward (Korinth) , Brimstone Sands (maybe not in 2024 anymore) and maybe with NW: Aeternum > Cutlass Keys Goal in the end should be having: 3 Tier IV Houses eacht with 4 Storage Chests^^
A good thing to note as well is that the property upkeep tax doesn’t stack. So if you don’t play for several weeks and then come back, you will still only have to pay one weeks worth of the upkeep :)
When you skip weekly rent you dont loose the house you just loose access to any trophies and storage in it and the bonuses of the house ( like entry and fast travel ) untill you pay the debt .
Very nice video, enjoy these guides! The towns and locations of various crafting stations gets confusing sometimes for me, and the essential thing for my sense of direction is to highlight area I want to go to next, so I press triangle or Y button on controller when on map to put a marker where I need to go, what station I want to use. Without that I would be lost in some towns going from forge to storage and so on.
for first house dont buy Tier I, go for minimum Tier II (you get a 1st house discount and you throw away money if you go Tier I) ..buy your first house: -where you are the most i. general (craft the most/sell&purchase goods the most/do faction quests the most,...) -popular choice on almost every server: Windsward/Everfall - most crowded, trade heavy cities
Actually some pksces are objectively better than others. Ever fall is extremely central, brimstone sands allows you to be closer to the sandworm challenge and cutlass keys is where the whole pvp area is.
You can place items when the color it yellow... It just wont contribute to your housing score. You can still decorate how YOU want if you don't care about the score
You Keep the items just as they are until you pay the tax. You only have housing items put into storage if you abandon the home. If you come back a month later and pay the tax, your items are still there

Right!? I hadn't even noticed that until you mentioned it.

Ahhh ok!
And the fast travel perk

Correct. I have a number 1 house on my server. I like how anyone that doesn't own that property sees mine as part of the game design

@@Renfail Amassing gold is a PITA.

yeah waypoints to the crafting stations FTW
When I was reading the upkeep, it mentioned that if it goes unpaid after a certain amount of days your items gets moved to the storage shed
Yeah that’s right.
Any sugestion rain on what setlement to buy the first house?
Just depends on your choice of visuals.

How do you buy furniture ? Or craft it ?
You can craft your own OR you can find it in the game world. Be sure to check out my carpentry and furnishing guides for more info!

Not all settlements provide houses for players to buy.
You can place items when the color it yellow... It just wont contribute to your housing score. You can still decorate how YOU want if you don't care about the score
Awesome 👌

Ah, ok, thanks for clarifying!
Ash stain is crafted using charcoal
Yep! It's in the upcoming guide for tomorrow
Why does it say you are invisible to other players? My friend couldent se me or my house. Anybody?
I think they can go up to your house hit view house and then look for your name idk if they can go in with you or not I’m not sure
