The spots that happen after acne but go away are called post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. They stay for 3-12 months

Not always... if you’re using retinol or hydroquinone they fade a lot faster.

other youtube makeup channels put allooot of concealer. they cover up all of the problem areas. And then start using the powder foundation 😫 and im like "whats the point of the review???" We cant see the products full potential to cover up. So thank you soooo much for being the first one to do a true review of this product!!!!

I love powder foundations. They're so easy. Plus if you buff them in really well they'll almost turn into a creamy finish.
I’m really happy that she’s released powder foundation because for a long while I was using bare minerals but I really love fenty beauty lol
I am dry in the winter, I tried it today and my face was not drying or peeling, I also walked my dog in the powder foundation for an hour and it still looked beautiful. I did use her hydrating primer. It was very beautiful and matched me perfectly.

I loved the MUFE powder foundation. Sadly, something in it really irritated my skin. (I thought maybe the bismuth, but I've never reacted to that in other things before. I'm not sure if it was maybe a higher conscentration than other products or what.) I also really like the Cover FX powder foundation because it was easy to find a good match in their line. I usally reach for Jane Iredale for it's silky smooth formula, even though it's kind of thought of as more 'mature' makeup. That shade range is a little wonky though.

I feel your pain...I’m neutral as well and struggle with shade matching...it either pulls too yellow or orange..it’s super frustrating especially in the middle of a pandemic where we can’t test before we buy in store.

I like to use powder foundation to set my foundation for a little extra coverage, and use loose powder to set where I concealed 😅

Sephora just came out with a new Clean foundation of their own (which I believe is also 50 shades) but I find it really odd that all their 5 star reviews are from customers who are Insider level who have only posted 1 comment.. ever. Don’t trust their reviews anymore, plus a lot of ppl reviewing celebrity brands are their hardcore fans. Would love to see more foundation reviews from you! Always keep it honest and fun!
Powders are so good for the hairline or beard area because they stick to the skin but not hair. I have a really red scalp in spots so I really like powders to cover that.
Hey Tim , just FYI phthalates is pronounced “thal-ates”, the ph is silent. Not trying to be grammar police, but I noticed you mentioned being unsure of the pronunciation in another video also 😊. I have dry skin but in high-school I always wore powder foundation and I miss the ease of using one.
I like this foundation, I bought the wrong colour (235) because I am a light-medium complexion but I ordered 280 and it's perfect. Makeup Forever is my favourite foundation by far, Smashbox Hydrating foundation is 2nd and now this seems to be my #3 (I find over time ising a product your assessment changes. I LOVED It Cosmetics cc cream when I first got it but now it'd be lucky to be in my top 10). I did notice that my Fenty Powder works better with my Fenty primer but beating out Makeup Forever Velvet Matte is probably an impossi le task. My favourite primer is usually Cover FX Illuminating Primer, it illuminates and seems to grab onto your makeup.
Ugh I bought this but the shade I got is waaay to light for me. I’ve been debating on exchanging or just returning it because I love a FULL coverage foundation and not sure about being able to get that from a powder. You’re convincing me to exchange it and try it but your skin is better than mine! I’m still on the fence lol

I wasn’t sure on this one because the powder that sounds like it’ll fit me looks light and full on pink on Sephora. I’m less intimidated if yours looked too light to you but ended up matching well

I used to love mac studio fix powder...that powder was the shit. Now that i’m older I stay away from powders or anything that adds years.
The only powder foundation that looks good on my dry skin is the j cat beauty one! Just need a hydrating primer and a dewy setting spray. So I don’t think I’ll get this 😭😭
