He’s truly a super idol. Each of them is unique and absolutely amazing. I’m glad that you discovered P1harmony.
A few things: They debut with a movie, and it's on RUclips it's a sci-fi film. Jiung has a great stage presence all of them do, but Jiung and Intak are standouts. I love BTS, but I hesitate to call myself army at times because of the cult-like attitude some of the fans have. Honestly, it's scary. It was a big issue about Soul's lack of line, but it was revealed he didn't want a lot of lines because he's still getting familiar with the Korean language and can be a bit insecure about his voice (even though he has a lovely voice}. Fans were so proud of him this recent comeback because he has more lines. Jongseob is actually the more seasoned member, even though he's the maknae. He's been performing since he was a child and won k-pop star he's honestly an incredible rapper given his age. Keeho is the most popular and it's primarily due to his sassy, unapologetic personality, and he's always going viral for something he says. It's honestly a shame that he doesn't get more recognition for his vocal talent cause he's one of the best vocalists in K-pop. I will say Jongseob gained more popularity during the Killin It era cause of his My Root Came 2005 verse. There are definitely K-pop fans who treat K-pop as a hobby and not a music genre.
P1harmony does line distribution themselves so they chose the lines they want. soul hasn’t been confident in singing but he’s slowly started to get more lines as his Korean gets better

Mark is crazy talented. I freaking detest when people underestimate him. And yes he writes a lot of his own lyrics now and in the past also so I don’t even know why are they making things up. I have been brought upon Eminem’s music and I honestly can say among all the rappers in KPop only Mark could be able to give me the same feeling Eminem’s lyricism and rapping skills once did.
i think nct is a tricky topic to talk about because sm will purposely refuse their idols opportunities especially to futher themselves as an artist. nct are very obviously talented, all the rappers have alot of interest in raps and write their own raps its just that, that side will probably be pushed to the fit what sm wants (example fans only recently found out yangyang can play the violin or how much mark talks about loving singing )

About Soul and him not getting many lines: It's not because he's a dancer or anything like that, he is actually a really talented singer and rapper! He or his members have said that its because he's still unsure when it comes to speaking Korean. If you watch him speaking Korean compared to him speaking Japanese (his first language) you'll notice he doesn't say much in Korean and he's much quieter. But when he's speaking Japanese he's very confident and talks so much. It's really just a matter of waiting for him to feel more confident. I will say though that he got way more lines this past comeback in September. As much as P1ece want to hear him and rap more we have to remeber that its his choice to have less lines. He'll sing more as he feels more comfortable.

about hip hop based groups, idk if you know them but you should check out bigbang, they're sort of the standard for that. they were the first proper kpop group that had hiphop as a base concept and the first group where the members were given creative freedom to produce and write their songs. they were also the first ones to break the standard of kpop rappers not being real rappers and they're highly respected by korean rapperes outside of kpop. they changed the industry and without them bts and skz wouldn't exist, bts specifically used them as direct inspiration during debut. one member did some fucked up stuff but he's out of the group (and he barely had lines anyways) and i think it's still important to know their impact. if you do check them out, my recs are: haru haru and lies (two ogs), bang bang bang and fxxk it ikon, bigbang's agency juniors, also have a pretty heavy hip hop base, their rappers b.i and bobby, along with mino from winner and zico from block b are like the main kpop rappers acknowledged in the hiphop scene in korea
