This series is so goated. Act made me cry ngl. Just an overall great take on pokemon. MY ONLY PROBLEM is that the breaks take forever and the most recent chapter was just a filler one, but besides that this series is one Ill nvr forget

Great video highlighting this gem of an engaged fanwork! With many of these big franchises, what the fans make of what they're given can add so much to whatever was originally there.
This reminds me a lot of the Adventures manga, both in the style and the characters. Given that series remains my all-time favorite take on the Pokemon world and characters, Festival of Champions sounds exactly like the sort of thing I'll love reading. Thanks for letting me know about it!

Amazing video on an amazing piece of Pokémon that is a hidden gem. The manga series is always a great piece of the series that many fans can sit and read. Great video :)
I appreciate the way you described the themes of the manga,the psychology of Green(glad that you didn't straight up painted him negatively),and the message the manga wanted to convey.((´∀｀*)) As someone who recently re-discovered Festival of Champions after more than four years,I'm so glad that there are still people talking about it!♪ヽ(*´∀`)ﾉ Assisting to the scene where Raticate died and then how things went downhill from there hurt me in a way I don't think I've ever felt before from a media. I almost teared up when I saw an illustration made,by the artist,called 夢「こういうことも あったのかもな」, in which Green was feeding an Alolan Raticate with lots of berries,while smiling at the pokémon...(´；ω；｀)
Great video as always Pollymacho. If you have time, I highly recommend a Steam game called Idol Manager. And I also highly recommend completing the story mode and romance option
