Great content🔥!Would these or a pair of armada arv 88 with marker squires (volkl for 420€ and armada for 400) be a good choice for my first playful all mountain ski? If not, what do you recommend?

Hi, this video answered a lot of my questions and i’m looking into buying these skis or the armada arv 94 i always used carving skis like atomic s9 and i’m a intermediate/expert skier. but also want to get into park but im not sure what size should i get 173 or 181. I’m 16 years old 195 pounds and 179cm (around 5”10) and i have really strong legs.
Would really appreciate an answer. Great video.

I assume you're still growing, I'd go with the 181 if you're on the edge. I like the Revolt because it's smoother and more damp while the ARV is lighter and more peppy.

Hi ! I just bought a pair of these with the 2024 wasp design , I would like to know your opinion about their behaviour in powder, as I purchased them in recommanded mounting point in the center. As always, nice video guys !

Decent floaters with good rocker and sharp taper. The further forward you go for mount, the more the tips are going to dive.

Hi, im looking at the 2024 edition of these skis, as they are at a much cheaper price, and was wondering if the Revolts have similar attributes across the two years. If so, would they be the right ski for me if I am a west coast mainly off-piste skiier, while at the same time I really enjoy playful bouncy skis? I am not too concerned about the weight, but will the wood core give too much flex on steeper mogul runs? I am willing to make sacrafices for the $299.99 price tag I found for the 2024s, but would metal core skis be a better fit?

Same ski, different graphic! They're pretty burly for just a wood core ski--there's good energy and stability here! And awesome value.

hey! I wanted to know what do you think about these skis when it comes to traditional slopes/carving. Does it twingle when going fast on groomers? thanks, love your videos!

There's more sturdiness on this ski than you may think--the Revolt 96 has a good stable feel to it and can handle some higher speeds.

Hi, am in market for ski’s, I am looking for a all mountain twin tip ski. I ski a lot of side trails and woods and just generally fun lines, I am looking to get into more park and progress, but wunna still be able to do all the rest with the skis. Am looking for something playfull. I am 6,2 and 70kg 18yr. Been looking at revolt 96 and 104.
    What would you recommend?
    THANKS

I bet the 96 is going to be a better choice here unless you are committed to soft and deep snow performance. It sounds like you're aiming for more versatility and well-rounded skiing, which is the 96. I think 181 is the way to go here.

Hi, i want a ski that can do it all haha. Im going to be carving on groomers with the lift, but sometimes the slopes will be really bumpy and otherwise i will be touring, building my own jumps and trying to learn new tricks. So sometimes its firm and sometimes soft snow.
Im 1,84m 78kg, 17y and i dont have the strongest feet when it comes to turning. What ski can you recommend? would these one be a good option and what lenght should i get?
Would appreciate it alot if i get an answer ^^
    Btw nice content :D

This ski in the 181 would work great. K2 Omen Team in the 177 as well is worth a look.

Hi, i am planing to get my first pair of own ski and cant really decide between the 2025 Revolt 96 and the Armada ARV 94?
I am looking for a ski thats really playfull and switchy. Light and agile with a playfull Charakter.
I do normaly ski on piste and use the sides to hop around do switches and have my fun. Sometimes i do some small boxes and tables.
But i want to get more into the park and jumps.

If agility and light are part of your list, I'd go with the ARV 94 here. The Revolt 96 is great but is on the heavier and stouter side of the spectrum.

Hi, so I'm an advanced skier 18yo 155 pounds, looking for an all mountain ski. I like to go fast and agressive, do carving and ski on-piste, but also want a ski which is playfull, I can hit side hits, and ski some trees and off trail also get in the park a bit. Im currently deciding between atomic bent 100, revolt 96, or nordica unleashed 98, oblivion 102. Which one would u guys recommend for me?

It's tough to argue against the Unleashed 98 in this situation. The downside vs. the Bent and the Oblivion is that it's on the heavier side, as is the Revolt. You do get the resulting on-trail carving performance, though, and that's a big plus in my mind.

Looking for a more freestyle-y compliment to a QST 106 (189cm) and considering the revolt 96 vs 104? I live in a pretty high-snow area, and I'm a little concerned about the 96 in a 181cm (6'2" 185lbs), but also don't know if the Revolt 104 in a 188 would be too similar to the qst. How different is the revolt 104 and the qst 106, and how floppy is the 96 in a smaller length?

    • @SkiEssentials
      @SkiEssentials  4 месяца назад +1

I'd definitely lean to the 104 in the 188--it's more different than the QST than you might think. The flex of the 104 is ample, and there's a lot of splay and rocker in both tips and tails. It's considerably more playful and freeridey than the QST. Also it's fun to ski it long--I think the 96 in the 181 would just feel to short and small.
