5150 187 Bluetooth LED Whips review

How did they not think of this!!! For such a great product how could they have used such a poor connector style/material! More and more people are voicing this concern. Event the pod lights have these soft connectors but here is the difference.......Once pods are connected, there is seldom another reason to disconnect them. If not a better connector, at least ship them with a false plug to keep their shape and pin position until in use. This is done with the pod lights, but not any of the lines, Y's or the whips!! And it shows. I love the brightness of 5150 whips and the durability! The cup mount is not ideal due to pooling and no drainage, but this has not been a serious issue to date. The review summary of UTV whip lights made by 5150 and would I buy them again? I had high hopes for the brand as it is well known and I enjoy there personality. After testing them I did enjoy the strength and brightness. This excitement was quickly damped by the poor connection and the third party app selected. But yes, I would buy them again based on todays market options. When another company comes along with equal or better brightness, strength and fixes the connectors, the cup and the third party app, I will definitely give them a shot.

So granny’s came up a lot, I saw RLB at the Oregan UTV takeover and like a lot about thiers. The mounts, the connections and the brightness but, theres always a but, but the warranty was not awesome. They are more affordable by a lot but each time you warranty you pay $75. Now you could warranty out twice and still be good so it’s a consideration.
