That about the "sunniest" island in Croatia is a pure marketing trick, because the city of Hvar is a place with a long-standing tourist industry, while Vis and Lastovo probably have more hours of sunshine, not likely but very likely to say for sure.

I agree that is very well possible, but for sure Hvar has a lot of sun during the year!
