Not for the first time, I'm going to be a lone dissenting voice, but what is the world if there's no freedom to dissent? I find this music insipid. Sorry! Thanks for posting anyway!
Well, actually, I love the same composer's Kitsch Musik, which is anything but kitsch, as well as a million other things. Er ... in somewhat similar vein but, to my ears, much more interesting, (and leaving out the obvious composers) how about John Cage's In a Landscape or Greville Cook's In a Cathedral or John Adams' China Gates for starters?
God, I love this music, thank you Valentin Silvestrov

Is this recording available on CD?
Can you please tell me if it is Kiev on the image?
from description: Photo - Dnieper river, Kiev (Fyodor Aksenov)
Right spelling is " Kyiv"
Yes, it's the Dnipro River, which flows through Kyiv. (Dniepr and Kiev are the outdated Russian tranasliterations).
Kyiv
This is Rusanovka, a district of Kiev, on the left bank of the Dnieper river, the place where the composer lives. I love him very much
Ukrainian avant-garde
In my channel is scores with Sylvestrov's music

Haha you're right, freedom of speech above all.
Makes me wonder what kind of music you do find interesting!

I'll make sure to listen to your suggestions carefully. Thx!
I agree. For solo piano, Szymanowski is my #1
this music harks back to lighter romantic music yet His phrasing is unique with poetic lyrical themes I am totally sold on this music
