I did my first carboot for around 5 years only a month ago or so, tried to get rid of aloud of stock which wasn't shifting on Ebay, anyway, 7am getting my stall out I put on the table a ps1 console and 6 controllers some guy grabs it says how much, i said idk £30? He says great pays up, leaves em in my car says ill come back in abit. Hour and a bit later guy comes back, pass him his console and controllers, he then looks at them, throwing each one of them aggressively on the floor damaging other items saying, shit, shit, shit, at this point I look at mum who's helping me out with the stall and im like what's this guy doing, he threw every controller on the floor and says you've sold me Alot of shit I dont want em give me my money back. I replied abit miffed off as hes damaged my items "you dont have to throw my controllers like a dick, if you want a refund just ask you dont have to damage stuff" he then puffs his chest and comes around the desk and pushes me so I shoved him back. Just as i thought im about to get into a full on fight over some bloody controllers the marshalls were walking around and banned him from the carboot.
Short story, put me of doing any more carboots for a while or at least that carboot, the following week i was buying at that carboot and i seen the knob so the "ban" went well.

tough day by the sounds of it, i have just recently started reselling too, inspired by you and a few other resellers and I have made a few mistakes on the way. I guess it's just part of the learning process. 😀
haha nightmare. did a house clearance once and one of the workers threw my van keys ina bag in the van....i pack the van well and i had to go through everything just to find the keys lol. found them though. like a greyhound lol

one night I locked myself out of my van with hand brake off in the middle of nowhere and watched it crash into the trees in the rain. my phone stopped working due to water damage and the whole village organised themselves and came with knives because i knocked a few doors hoping for help. In the end they saved me but man when I saw those knives I thought I was done....

If you ever use the gym equipment alone, don't use the clips on the bars. If you get stuck during a set, you'll be able to drop the weights instead of killing yourself.

I noticed you said in the past you used Zipsale. I’m currently using zipsale as vendoo wasn’t in the uk when I started crosslisting. Vendoo seems really expensive. How do you rate it compared to zipsale?

I see, I thought you had to lock them with the key to lock it etc. That's a mistake not to be made again but its easily done. In one of my Van's it used to lock automatically when you shut all the doors, so annoying.

Be careful at the moment selling trainers ,boots and shoes as the buyers are saying they fall to bits or the heels fall off etc when they get them !! It's a scam m8 they ask AI to do a picture of the shoes with damage done to them they then show you the pics , you refund and they get a free pair of shoes or trainers 😊
