She makes a lot of awesome music (as well as some really well-made video essays) and allows creators to use it without any copyright claiming, meaning animations made using her songs are free to monetize! I've been wanting to use some of her work for an animation for quite some time, and I'll probably take another stab at it in the future because I'm... not the happiest with this one. But it's been sitting nearly completed for almost a year now so I need to just let it go.
So, this one is actually a pretty personal project. I started working on it around May of 2021, and was meant to celebrate moving out of my childhood home to live with my best friends. Well, the move was completed in June 2021 and this uh. Wasn't.
All the same, though, I still wanted to finish this at some point. This move was the start of a new, happier portion of my life, and it's been almost a year since then which is absolutely wild to me. It was risky, terrifying, and certainly had its challenges, but the three of us have been able to catch each-other and overall, we're all doing much better together than we were on our own. I'm so glad to have my friends by my side, and it's amazing to me that we were able to do this.
All that said, I wish I could be happier with the final product than I am. But uh... I dunno. It's just been sitting here for way too long at this point and I feel like it's not my best work. IDK. On to other projects!

I hate animation memes a lot (Typh’s bloodpop, for example) but this one is different. It isn’t overly dramatic, and it gives it a sense of realism. Which is good for a change! ❤️
