I swear MurderofBirds is one of the few streamer who actually cares and enjoy the gameplay + story of genshin and not just stream a popular title to gather viewers. Others get confused by what they're seeing at trailers cause they didn't had full understanding of the story. MurderofBirds understood and followed the story very well.
David and Goliath size difference sounds great on paper but I couldn't imagine making it work from a first-ish person perspective. And then they freaking did it. Can't wait to try out the fight myself now. It also helps that the soundtrack is a banger! Big probs to Arnold's self control against looking at leaks and the very helpful mods who I'm sure help out with filtering out info before the time comes
With the way Arnold does his content, I'd bet it requires very little self control to avoid leaks, since he does lore content alongside just regular gameplay. Plus, his mods make sure to filter out leaks so that he remains unspoiled. I'm so glad I found this channel, his playstyle mirrors my way of enjoying the game.
I went from hating Scaramouche and wanting to wring his scrawny neck to now actually wanting to save him. They did Yoimiya real dirty. First release was right before 2 of the most anticipated characters up to that point, Ayaka and Raiden Shogun, and then she was rerun right before Sumeru came out, with people either spending everything for Kazuha or saving up for Sumeru characters. And now, right alongside one of the most hyped characters of the Sumeru versions. I really wanted to try to get her but just didn't have enough primos to get her AND Kazuha.
Doesn't matter if it's after, before, or along with hyped character. For example even if her banner is in the best spot possible, people who don't really like her that much will saving up for next patch just like you said anyway (new region, new character announcement, leaked content, etc).

The trailer really gives me the feeling that our Sumeru friends are gonna start a coup with the Akademiya with Nilou somehow also being involved. Would be cool to see Cyno or Alhaitham decide to become the next Grand Sage after everything is done.
If there's one thing I learned playing Genshin since 2.0, it's that if one patch feels light on content, the next one is _heavy_. It's not always the case, but I remember going from 2.5 with two character quests and one exploration event, to the HUGE Irodori festival in 2.6. Going from 2.3 to 2.4 also felt substantial af with both Enka and Lantern Rite dropping. So far we know the TCG is on its way but I wonder what else 3.3 will have for us.
3.3 will definitely be big. Along with TCG I think we'll be getting the northern desert with the Celestial Nail, and along with it probably the next Traveler/Dainsleif chapter. Bonus points if the event chapter is meaty.

Idk about Nahida's literal snapshot attacks considering the fact there are a few fast moving enemies but idc, I'm still pulling. She looks really fun to play. Man I'm so excited! And I can already see all the chaotic full Nahida co-op teams using her ult together lol! Everyone's gonna build a whole circus in the middle of battle
The patch looks good. Events look decent though the camera event doesn't really interest me personally. It is worth mentioning that adding challenging content doesn't mean the game will have less story, lore and interesting quests. There is nothing wrong with wanting more content in general. I still think it is hilarious that they had the balls to claim to care about causing player anxiety when the game completely revolves around FOMO. Also, what is the point in even wishing for new characters when there is no reason to even build them. Why even spend resin when you can clear all the story content and most events with level 70 characters and 4* artifacts? It may come as a surprise but there are a lot of players that enjoy both the story/lore and the combat mechanics. The two sides aren't mutually exclusive.
I’m excited to deal with Scara’s boss and play the mini games! Mihoyo plllssss make the mini games permanent 😭😭 SO EXCITED TO C2 TARTAGLIA TOO! And the photos event! And the hypostasis event. I want that name card. I missed it first time around. I love how Genshin fits different genres into the game. That’s something I’ve *always* wanted from a video game and wanted to do when I make a game myself. This livestream was nice. I’m really happy they added Italian too cause one of my old mutuals can play Genshin now (hopefully).

I'd wager it'll be the name of the Traveler & Dainsleif quest since they always revolve around Khaenri'ah and the truth of Teyvat. It would be a bit weird to name Sumeru's chapter after an act of the Traveler chapter, but it's the only thing I can think of.
So another harbinger as weekly boss. I'll be looking forward what will be the 2nd weekly boss for Sumeru. In liyue and inazuma, the 1st boss is harbinger and the 2nd is archon's subordinate/friends, while in modstadt both the boss are venti's old friends. I wonder if Sumeru will follow the same rule as Inazuma and Liyue, who knows we might face Scarlet King or something as weekly boss.

I'm thinking that Nahida is going to destroy the irminsul tree herself, or at least erase a part of it so that the rest doesn't burn, only then will the world truly forget Rukkhadevata, honoring her last words. Maybe then the memories will blur and her people will finally see Rukkhadevata and Nahida as one.
i hope that the scaramouche boss fight has 3 phases if it end with the phase 2 gimmick pet because our attacks become useless ill be very disappointed the boss fight does look awesome, the reason why ill be disappointed is because a final boss of a game i played long time ago was a gimmick fight and no matter how strong your party was you could not beat the boss in normal combat
It's still too early to say for sure that Rukkhadevata and Kusanali are the same person, for some reasons: 1- The fall of the desert civilization happened way before the cataclysm, so Rukkhadevata already looked tiny when the cataclysm happened, this is important because the sages said they found Kusanali to "resemble" Rukkhadevata, but if she had just lost her memories then, she wouldn't just resemble one another, they would be equal, however i do concur that this by itself isn't enough evidence, hence my next point: 2- Zhongli in the end of the Liyue story said that Kusanali was the youngest of the archon, being born just 500 years ago, now, one may argue that perhaps Zhongli just didn't know she was the same as Rukkhadevata, however, Zhongli knew that Raiden Makoto had died even when absolute nobody in the entire inazuma (aside from Yae Miko) knew that, one can argue that maybe he saw her die since he too fought in the war, however, Venti also know she died and it's cannon that Venti wasn't in that war because he was dealing with Durin in dragonspine by that time, and by that time he already wasn't on good therms with zhongli, so i believe if Zhongli said Rukkhadevata died he must be right about it. 3- Kusanali, while not being as wise as Rukkhadevata was, is still very wise, not only she managed to save everyone from the eternal dream, but she also helped the traveler multiples times already with her wits alone, combine this with the fact she literally have access to all information available in the entirety of Sumeru, including about Rukkhadevata and it is inconceivable that in 500 years she would still not be able to put 2 and 2 together. My theory is: just like the Aranara, Rukkhadevata died while infusing herself with the tree, but she planted a "seed" before/after that, and Kusanali was born from it, so she would be kind of a "daughter" of Rukkhadevata, what do you think?

Okay, I understand that you would assume that anyone watching this was caught up with the current storyline, so I can't fault you for spoilers, but as someone who has just gotten to Sumeru it really felt like you went out of your way to detail a LOT of things that happened last Archon Quest. I watched this to see your excitement about the patch, but I wish I'd waited until I got caught up.
i have nothing to catch up on need more to do cuz all maps 100% now that doesnt means i have everything done at all but it is just hidden stuff and i do somethings find things but it isnt easy lol but with only all that to do it does give me time to grind and get mats that i need or artifacts

So another harbinger as weekly boss. I'll be looking forward what will be the 2nd weekly boss for Sumeru. In liyue and inazuma, the 1st boss is harbinger and the 2nd is archon's subordinate/friends, while in modstadt both the boss are venti's old friends. I wonder if Sumeru will follow the same rule as Inazuma and Liyue, who knows we might face Scarlet King or something as weekly boss.
I dont thing nahida will die in 3.2 because she have her own story quest, which we can play after sumeru act 5? So yeah, i have red flag for scaramouche :)?

I use zhongli because I can't dodge... You want me to start trying now? That's like wanting to acclimate yourself to spices, but instead of starting off with small amounts of spice in your dishes you just eat a whole can of ghost peppers 😭😭
i still have so much desert exploration and quests left to do. i did the archon quest, but not character quests or other desert quests.
I'm thinking that Nahida is going to destroy the irminsul tree herself, or at least erase a part of it so that the rest doesn't burn, only then will the world truly forget Rukkhadevata, honoring her last words. Maybe then the memories will blur and her people will finally see Rukkhadevata and Nahida as one.

i hope that the scaramouche boss fight has 3 phases if it end with the phase 2 gimmick pet because our attacks become useless ill be very disappointed the boss fight does look awesome, the reason why ill be disappointed is because a final boss of a game i played long time ago was a gimmick fight and no matter how strong your party was you could not beat the boss in normal combat
It's still too early to say for sure that Rukkhadevata and Kusanali are the same person, for some reasons:
1- The fall of the desert civilization happened way before the cataclysm, so Rukkhadevata already looked tiny when the cataclysm happened, this is important because the sages said they found Kusanali to "resemble" Rukkhadevata, but if she had just lost her memories then, she wouldn't just resemble one another, they would be equal, however i do concur that this by itself isn't enough evidence, hence my next point:
2- Zhongli in the end of the Liyue story said that Kusanali was the youngest of the archon, being born just 500 years ago, now, one may argue that perhaps Zhongli just didn't know she was the same as Rukkhadevata, however, Zhongli knew that Raiden Makoto had died even when absolute nobody in the entire inazuma (aside from Yae Miko) knew that, one can argue that maybe he saw her die since he too fought in the war, however, Venti also know she died and it's cannon that Venti wasn't in that war because he was dealing with Durin in dragonspine by that time, and by that time he already wasn't on good therms with zhongli, so i believe if Zhongli said Rukkhadevata died he must be right about it.
3- Kusanali, while not being as wise as Rukkhadevata was, is still very wise, not only she managed to save everyone from the eternal dream, but she also helped the traveler multiples times already with her wits alone, combine this with the fact she literally have access to all information available in the entirety of Sumeru, including about Rukkhadevata and it is inconceivable that in 500 years she would still not be able to put 2 and 2 together.
My theory is: just like the Aranara, Rukkhadevata died while infusing herself with the tree, but she planted a "seed" before/after that, and Kusanali was born from it, so she would be kind of a "daughter" of Rukkhadevata, what do you think?
wdym "wasn't on good terms with zhongli"? i thought only the tsaritsa had beef with venti,,, zhongli and venti are amicable enough that venti still occasionally visits him in liyue bringing wine
@@luxury2092 iirc ever since the aristocacry venti isn't on good terms with him, if you check the voicelines you notice Zhongli can't stand venti and venti is afraid of visiting him.
they are not enemies, but are not on very good terms either

@@luxury2092 like i said they are not on bad terms but are not talking to each other, venti is afraid that he will get blown away by him and zhongli things venti is a disgrace to the arts, that voiceline about zhongli may refer to a time before the aristocracy, and the "about time i pay him a visit" indicates he hasn't talked to venti in a long time

Okay, I understand that you would assume that anyone watching this was caught up with the current storyline, so I can't fault you for spoilers, but as someone who has just gotten to Sumeru it really felt like you went out of your way to detail a LOT of things that happened last Archon Quest.
