Yes, I have a white Maine coon that has both blue eyes and it is not deaf. I almost chose the white cat with one gold eye and one blue eye. He was not deaf either. Lucky for the breeder and cat, I guess.
My 6 months little cat is white with light blue eyes, pink paws, ears and nose, he hears very well and I love her so much. Hope stay together for ever ❤
I’ve had several white cats, Katie, Cory, Kinley, Kismet, Fiona, and Yoongi. Katie, Kismet, and Kinley were the odd eyed cats. To my knowledge none of them were deaf. Kismet lived to be about 20 years old. Unlike the others which were affectionate, she was very standoffish until she was very old. She liked to sit on the stairs and watch me through the rails. So that is where I have placed her white urn with her ashes. It is comforting to see her urn there where she used to be.
I have 2 white cats and 1 is outside only. Both are very loving and gentle with kittens. They are very playful and expressive. I wish I could find a home for the one outside. He is so sweet.
We have Rupert - all white and two different coloured eyes: one gold, one blue and he is pretty much completely deaf. He is the biggest goof we've ever had in a cat and we are so glad he came into our lives :)
*I have a pure white domestic shorthair cat with two blue eyes. He’s a male, and he’s now 2.5 years old. He’s not deaf at all **_(he just chooses to be one when he wants to, but not when it’s meal or treats times),_** and he’s pretty big and long if compared to local DSH cats here in my country. And he’s such an attitude. He’s the alpha furbaby at home. He constantly asserts dominance while being the most extroverted. Before him, we had two female white cats **_(one had two yellow eyes, and the other had one blue and one yellow eyes)._*
My sister has one. He's completely deaf and his meows are incredibly loud. Lol. His name is Sugar and he's really sweet. He likes to suckle on people's noses and fingers.
I took in a white cat who was deaf - he was out near a road with traffic. Best cat I ever had! Sadly, he eventually succumbed to FIV after 11 years. My next white cat was a white Angora, beautiful cat but with a troubled upbringing by the previous owners. This one passed away after 8 years. I dearly miss them both! 😿
I have a white cat. A British shorthair. When he was a month old, he had some yellow spots on his forehead. These spots faded and disappeared when he was 4 months old. He is fully white, not deaf, and has yellow eyes. Very talkative and playful. Asking kisses and hugs all the time 😂 much clingier than his tabby brother.
Hello, my last cat , who passed away in Janruary this year 2023 was a great friend , was all white , and yes he was indeed deaf. Called him Lil buddy. I used to think maybe he was just playing me, and i would try to get him to react when I was behind him and he was unaware. But he was deaf. Still his ears would twitch around as if he was listening to something.. He was male and could let out a good yeowl at times. He was very visually oriented and would lock eyes and follow me around to keep close tabs on me. . Just adopted two kitties the beginning of October , so i have been checking your videos. I just naturally call either of them lil buddy too.
My white kitty was solid white with long beautiful fur and yellow eyes. When he was 10 or so he was diagnosed with glaucoma and had one eye removed. He was the bestess one eyed beauty! Miss him dearly.
Thanks for the video. Very informative. My Ben is white with a couple of dirty spots on his head. He’s got one blue and one green eye and no real signs of deafness. Never been vocal, just chatters.
I have a pure white Persian named Casper, as well as Snuggles and Angel, who are also fluffy pure white, and none of them are deaf. In fact, their hearing is too good; I only need to slightly open a pouch in the kitchen, and they come running. If I so much as touch Angel's favourite toy, she suddenly shows up! 🐾
I had a beautiful white cat, her name was Bella. She developed kidney disease and left me suddenly. The veterinarian said that this is a common thing for white cats. I miss my girl every day, she was barely 3 years old...has anyone else had a similar experience?
I have a Turkish Angora. White coat with light green eyes. He seems to be mostly deaf. I think that he can hear a few tones, though. I have, on more than one occasion, vacuumed less than a foot from him while he was sleeping on the carpet, without him waking up.
Hi, my first 2 cats were white littermates: Buster, a large male, and Sis, a small female. Buster had blue eyes and was deaf; Sis had brown eyes and was hearing. I guess because he couldn't hear himself, Buster had the loudest meow I've ever heard. When he was a kitten, he would "catch" his toy mouse and parade around the house with it in his mouth, loudly proclaiming his hunting expertise. Sis was terrified of thunder; Buster seemed to sense the vibration, but it didn't bother him. The funny thing was that Buster would watch Sis for cues. If Sis suddenly ran out of the room, Buster would stare at the spot she had been in for a second, and then follow her at top speed. Buster also loved to be handled; one time a vet was checking him with a stethoscope, and Buster was purring loudly, until the vet got frustrated and said, "OK, that's enough, I'm trying to listen!" 😁
I have a almost all white cat with a few splotches of diluted calico color. Her mom is black and white and grandma is calico, but dad is a Mackerel Tabby ❤️
We had a white cat who a part of our family. He loved to roll around the kitchen floor. He really helped us see where the dirt was, a pretty good feature of a white cat.
I had an all white cat for 17 years, he was very friendly and mellow, although he could be sassy at times. Whenever I brought him to the vet they always told me my cat is very well behaved. He passed away in 2020 due to renal failure. I still miss him dearly. Now I adopted an almost all white cat with only black spots on his ear and tail.
We adopted our cat. She was found by an elderly woman who couldn't take care of her, she heard the little kitten meowing under her house and tried to care for her (no mama), pound picked her up. We saw her in the kennel. She was pure white with green-yellowish eyes. I named her "Daisy," because she reminded me of the coloring of the flower...pure white petals with a green-yellow center, beautiful cat. We love her.
I had for 19yrs an all white cat with green eyes. His Mother was all black and his siblings were 2 other all white and 1 tabby. I've oftentimes wondered how an all black Mother could have 3 all white kittens 🤔?? He also had a few black hairs on his forehead that faded to white within a few weeks of adopting him at 10 weeks. He was long haired, soft as silk and with little brushing never had mats. Had to help him with "dingleberries" though which he appreciated. He died from a stomach tumor that bc of his age couldn't be removed and was most likely cancer. We got 2 Vet opinions and they both agreed. He was a stunning boy and we miss him but we look forward to seeing him and his best friend Sammy Doodle someday over the Rainbow Bridge🌈❤🙏
Our Sky was a blue-eyed medium long-haired white cat. He was not deaf. Gorgeous cat, super friendly and affectionate. We had 19 wonderful years with him. He developed heart disease when he was about 12, but it was well managed.
I have a solid white cat with green eyes. He’s not fully deaf but he can’t hear things from far away like my other cat can. And he’s super social and playful.
I have 2 golden eyed white cats, one male and one female, with single-colored eyes. Their momma, that crossed Rainbow Bridge last year, was a Calico cat. Both white cats are extremely vocal, especially the female. The male is the most intelligent cat that I've been blessed to own.
Thanks for the video! My Jack is pure white, with green eyes, and definitely not deaf. He loves to be outside on his leash and having Adventures, but loves cuddle time with a warm blanket and a lap even more. ❤
I have a solid white cat whose mum was white and his siblings have ginger and other colours. So I guess he's got the white spotting gene. No deafness, and both his eyes are brown. My cat is very talkative and very attached to his family. He's a bit anxious and nervous, which is why I decided not to adopt him out to someone else, but he's also really strong and can scare off other cats easily. He's my baby panther 🤍
Fascinating! In the summer of 2019 I adopted Lance, an 8 year old, long haired, blue eyed, white lover (indeed he seems to love everyone). Strikingly handsome and big (14lbs and fit), we bonded instantly. I was concerned that he may be deaf but found he did respond when called (as much as any cat will) and his favorite toys all make some type of noise. I am wondering if there may be other genetic differences in white cats. For instance, he has the quietest voice (compared to my lynx point Siamese) and will have hacking fits when he does the territorial growls (when he sees a predator outside). He is also prone to acne even though all vessels are ceramic and his diet is very healthy (no kibble and minimal treats that are grain free - I intend to keep him around for many more years)
Very instructive video. It's something I've been wondering about. I'm glad my Cupcake Sally has the spotting gene. Just checked her hearing and she's fine. As a small kitten she was entirely white with blue eyes. Now, at 9 months, her eyes are green, with the slightest bluish cast. She also developed tannish rings on her tail, two small tan spots below the fetlocks and a light dusting of orange around the head and ears. She was reminding me of one of those Hostess cupcakes with the orange frosting on top. She's still mostly cake and creme filling....
We have a white cat named Casper. Green eyes. Can be cranky. We have had 3 white cats. Two were strays and Casper we bought from Habitat. They have all been different but terrific in their own way.
We rescued what appeared to be a bonded male pair many years ago, a red tabby and a pure white kitty. The tabby we gave the boring name of Leo. The white one, though ... there is a major street in Austin, TX called Ben White Boulevard, named after a popular city council member from the 1950's. So of course, that became the name of the white one - Ben White. His most curious trait was his habit of dipping his right front paw in his water bowl and then licking the water from his "hand".
Just the cutest way ever to take a sip of water! My little 6lb tabby girl did the same thing for all her 16 years .. cats are just so uniquely sweet & adorable!
We had a white cat Persian when I was young. She had blue eyes and was partially deaf. In the dark her eyes were blood red. It was weird. She was very prissy. She was beautiful and she knew it. She was a sweet cat. Miss her.
Love your content Mallory. Your litter resources help so much in finding the right solution for me and my kitty. I would love to see your take on cat toys for a finicky cat who would prefer to nap. Laser pointers, the few toys she doesn't ignore, and "walks" in the yard only interet her for a minute or two minutes.
I have a 3 yr old white male cat Cruze with 1 blue eye & 1 brown eye when he was a kitten he had a black smudge on the top of his head but as he grew that disappeared & his mom is also a white cat with different colored eyes.
My white cat, Mavish, Has different color eyes, a tabby tail 😁 and a Spot on the ear. She’s not deaf. In terms of personality, she’s just adorable, delicate and loving. I ❤❤❤ her very much.
Thanks for the great video, cat genetics has always been of great interest to me. My indoor ‘colony’ of five rescued ferals includes three fun and interesting polydactyls. 😺 I also have a fabulous pure-white, odd-eyed (blue + greenish) domestic shorthair grandcat named Schweppes. He is stone deaf in both ears and 100% charming. 😻♥️
Very interesting! I had a deaf white kitten many, many years ago. Sadly he had a bad fall as a kitten & died. Over the years I've often wondered if this gene also affects their balancing skills which is located in the middle ear.
I have 2 white cats. They are littermates that I adopted from a feral rescue. One has orange eyes and a black patch on her forehead that disappeared as she’s gotten older. The other has a mint green eyes and grey mark on her forehead that’s changed over time. Both look like they have a bit of a tabby like striped fur pattern in the right light, even though they are very white. One has asthma and is a big baby when I give her her inhaler. They both have a ton of energy, are extremely smart and athletic. They are playful and they make me so happy
Our white cat Coco was originally named coconut due to the 3 small black dots on her head ( like the top of a coconut ) she has since lost those and is completely white with green eyes. Definitely not deaf ! Shes our security guard for any noise around the house .
I have a white Turkish Angora. She doesn't have blue eyes but is deaf in one ear. The classic Turkish Angora is white, but they do come in all the other colors. Her half brother is a grey tabby with white. I got them from a breeder in the Netherlands. Same father, different mothers and born 10 days apart. The breeders test all white kittens for hearing loss, so we knew before we got her that she was deaf in one ear. If anything she seems more sensitve to sounds that her brother with full hearing. She is particularly sensitive to high pitched sounds like sirens. She will run and hide when she hears a siren, or other high pitched sounds, even on TV. My husband had a white cat (also longhaired but don't know if she was a TA or not) when he was growing up. That cat was never tested for hearing loss, but lived a long life as an indoor/outdoor cat.
My current fur-iend is flame point siamese and he has these white cat characteristics. Handful of years ago I had a just pure white cat that had really bad sneezing allergies but loved that guy so much. He was runt and always tiny with other health problems that took him from me but I'll never forget him. Charmin like the toilet paper. Aka charmy Had some possum in live trap that Charmin would take his cat food to and drop outside of cage for possum to eat. The most loving, hugging, needy, and truly caring cat. Would climb in food box because others couldn't fit and he drop food outside it for his brothers to eat, piece by piece. Then pooped in his dry food box one night for me to stick hand in when waking up and feeding them becaue I didn't use wet can food right next to dry food container. My flamepoint don't have as many white cat characteristics but still has some. Alot healthier.
I have a pair of boys who are litter brothers, they are Oriental Shorthairs and both are pure white. One has true heterochromia with one green and one blue eye, the other has "partial heterochromia", he has one eye green and one eye split vertically green and blue. Neither of them are deaf, but one only answers when he wants to and the other always comes running when called, he loves his cuddles and thinks that is what he is called for, that or food! Both of my boys are very loving and as soon as I sit down they are on my lap. They always start the night sleeping with me but move when it gets too hot with three cats and me heating up the bed. We also have a Siamese female who is their den mother and continually washes them and keeps them warm. One of the boys has the curious habit of drowning his toy mice and small toys in his water bowl, he does it with all of them, even the pull strips from boxes we give him as "snakes". Anybody seen this before or knows why he does it, he is really strange about it, but his brother is quite normal and just plays with the toys.
I breed blue eyed white oriental Long hairs and short hairs. Fortunately so far none of mine have been deaf. I breed whites to non white pointed cats. Once an accidental mating occurred between 2 whites and the 2 white female babies were deaf but the one pointed male was not. It certainly was not my choice for this mating!
My male cat, Cyrus appeared completely white when I first spotted him. But developed a very faint pink/orange tint on his ears and faint bands on his tail so he obviously doesn't have the dominant white gene but is secretly a tabby, Haha. A vet said we was a flame point Siamese but he was from a feral cat colony and there weren't any adult Siamese that I could see. He had been attacked and was injured and it took me many weeks to capture him since this wasn't close to my home. But he is such a fighter and has the most gorgeous light blue eyes. He's very thin like a Siamese and quiet jumpy especially to loud sounds, so not deaf. It's amazing how you get such a variety of cat coat and eye colors in these cat colonies. It's terrible that cat colonies develop and I wish there was more help to get young felines spray and neutered. They suffer so much from hunger, disease and predation. Unfortunately pet dumping is prevalent in the rural area I found him. And there's no cat organizations willing to travel into rural New Mexico where this problem is happening.
My cat Aura is the first white cat i've had and it has taken some time to get used to. She has a bit of black around the ears and a black tail. Very different from my boy who passed away a few months ago, but i love her to bits. She isn't deaf
I have a pure white Turkish angora mix called Casper, he's not deaf tho, his mother was also white, i have kept him from 2 months old and now he will be 2 in February, most loyal cat and very caring
I love my two TAs. One is white and the other tiger striped and white. My first TA was all black and a stray that wound up in our yard, When he was diagnosed with kidney disease I had his DNA done and that's when I found out about the TA breed. Spooky was almost 100% TA.
I have a neva masquerade red point, so he is white with amazing blue eyes. As he gets older he will get orange tabby stripes on his face, feet and tail. We are fortunate to have just adopted his brother yesterday!
Our Ragdoll is considered “lilac” - white body with grayish face, ears, and tail and optic white paws. Her eyes are blue, and her hearing is excellent.
My Arthur has the spotty white. His 3/4 length tail, back of rear legs and spots on his head are ginger. He has beautiful amber eyes. His Daddy was a bobtail that's why his tail is weird but cute.
Remember photo albums? Remember photos?? I had one page that was filled with pictures of my black cat Midnight, but there was one picture of my friend's white cat. I used a "word bubble" sticker to have Midnight say "what's that cat doing here?
Very interesting. Thank you for this. Can you consider addressing any traits around cats? Specifically,if male or female cats tend to have certain traits where playfulness is concerned, for example,if a male cat prefers “rough and tumble”type of play versus female cats?
I HAVE AT LEAST A DOZEN WHITE CATS. THE BABIES HAVE TWO SEMI BLACK MARKS BETWEEN THE EARS. THE EYE COLOR IS RANDOM. THEY HAVE BEEN BORN FERREL AND SEAM TO UNDERSTAND WHO FEEDS THEM, BECAUSE WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR MOST OF THEM EXPLODE AWAY FROM THE FOOD TRAY. I HAVE LIVED ON THE RANCH FOR 50 YEARS. IN THE BEGINNING WE HAD SIAMESE, AND SO MY WHITE CATS DESCENDED FROM THEM
My wee boy is called Max. He's short haired, pure white with pink jellybean pads and a pink nose. He has green eyes and his hearing is exceptional lol. I adopted him 6 months ago, when he was about 4 months old, and I ADORE him. He's so full of energy, yet still pauses to jump on my lap and gives me kisses. He sleeps with me every night, and when I wake up he lays on my chest and tries to lick my nose and beard lol. I love him A LOT
I never expected to have a white cat -- being a 'wear dark colors at all times' person -- but I do now. We got her as a rescue; she was a mama cat with four white kittens. (Alas, we don't have the kittens. We totally would have adopted them as well.) Some of them did have the tiny smudges of colors, barely there, from the photo we saw of them all together. She has pale green eyes, and can definitely hear, as any sudden loud noise will send her rocketing across the house. (She will also chirp along with 'Somebody to Love' by Queen at times. Only that. Don't ask me why, I have no idea. It's pretty dang adorable, though.)
When i was a kid, my mom had a turkish angora who was all white with blue eyes. She was not deaf but she was horribly mean. She would attack anyone but my mother. She was stolen at some point and honestly i wasnt mad about it.
i have a short haired white cat that i adopted a few months ago, she has yellow eyes, playful and very smart!!! her instincts are amazing but she is not clingy at all haha
Thank you so much for the infos I‘m from vietnam and I have 5 cats, a male white cat (8 ys old), a male siamese (also 8), two female tortoiseshells (both r 6 ys old) and a male tabby (5 ys old) Could u please make videos about facts of Siamese cats? My siamese ‘s having FLUTD (Feline lower urinary tract disease), for the third time. So his vet thinks of FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis) I heard that FLUTD (or FIC) usually happens to Siamese cats. Is that true? By the way could u tell me the difference between FLUTD and FIC? And again, THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS!😊😊😊
I have a white cat with one blue eye and one brown eye. She is blind due to Glaucoma but her hearing is fine - her favorite word is “treat” and her favorite phrase is “are you hungry?”
Can you do a video on cats born to domestic cats that looks like real Siamese cats with blue eyes and why this happens? I have one and the vets are always surprised when I tell them she is not a Siamese and show them her sister a domestic short hair.
I have a white cat with yellow eyes and ghost grey stripes on his forehead. He is not deaf. He has a sibling who is all white with blue eyes but he is NOT deaf!
I've witnesses two white cats who went deaf, one which didn't. It was sad as the deaf ones went missing over time. Favorite name for a cat with different colored eyes: buttons
i had a white cat with blue eyes and got him as a baby that was only about 2 weeks old. I found him in a ditch near my apartment when I was a young girl. I picked him up and wrapped him in my jacket and called around to find a vet that was still open. The vet was amazing and told me the little kitten might be deaf and that I probably saved his life. He didn't charge me for the visit and gave me free milk that I had to feed to the kitten every couple of hours for 24/7. I was working for a construction company doing office work (my first job) and the boss was a cat lover so allowed me to bring the kitten to work and feed him when needed. He lived to be 19 years old and was totally deaf. To call him, I stomped on the floor as he could feel the vibrations and he learned to come to me when I did that. He was amazing. I'm 61 now and I still miss my little Dinky (named him that because he was so tiny). Thank you for the video, it brought back such good memories. 😍😍
Turkish Anatolian White (the breed is white, and one of the old natural ones like Siamese) often have blue eyes but are less likely to be deaf. I had two of them, one Tom with two blue eyes and NOT deaf (until just before he died at about 21, and a female with odd color eyes, one bronze and one blue, and she SEEMED to have hearing in both ears. Beautiful and wonderful cats, but very rare in the US, and apparently even in Turkey, where they are considered to be a national treasure! (And rightly so!)
Hi,dear❤! I have a white Sibirian male cat.Hr is 5 months old and he can hear very well...sometimes he seems to be deaf...but when i rattle with his feeding bowl, he hears it 😂
We have a 1 year and 6 month old white cat with yellow eyes. She was born with a grey spot on her forehead which slowly disappeared as she was growing - completely gone now. She’s craaaazy!!! 😂 but we love her to pieces. We named her Katniss because the odds are forever in her favor.
We have a white cat named Snowy, she isn’t deaf, she’s a girl, she has heterochromia, she’s special because she’s so playful, she knows how to tap to get our attention, she’s smart, her tail is short and her tail’s shape is the letter L but if you bend it it will turn to an upside down U. I miss her so much. I love you so much Snowy! ❤
I had a family of 6 white blue eyed cats and none were deaf, at least not noticeably. Three were polydactyl. One was pure white with no sign of color and I always thought he was albino. That albinos are more than simply all white is news. They all were very smart and lived to be seniors. Two are still with me going on twentyone years old and doing fine.
Yes, white cats are more likely to be deaf! Have you ever had a white cat? If so, were they deaf, or could they hear? 👂🦻Let me know in the comments!
Had a white kitty and he wasn't deaf :) but he had a very fun personality and was super smart :P
Yes, I have a white Maine coon that has both blue eyes and it is not deaf. I almost chose the white cat with one gold eye and one blue eye. He was not deaf either. Lucky for the breeder and cat, I guess.
My beautiful blue eyed boy Kaspyr lived 24 years …
Not deaf, but I believe he was mute…
I miss him terribly 🐾🐾

Also, I got Crispín for my son after Cory died, and Crispín moved away with him..
My Leo was my best friend. He was by my side through troubled times. I'll always miss him April 1, 2001 to August 9, 2017.
Sounds like a special guy, and he experienced a lot. Wishing you all the best. 🤍🤍
So sorry for your loss. I miss my boy too.
Always in our hearts 💕
Yes, they are loving n always the best friend ever.
I had a cat named Cleo. He died a couple of years ago from poisoning..
I have 2 white cats and 1 is outside only. Both are very loving and gentle with kittens. They are very playful and expressive. I wish I could find a home for the one outside. He is so sweet.

Sounds sugary-sweet! 🤍🤍
I took in a white cat who was deaf - he was out near a road with traffic.
Best cat I ever had! Sadly, he eventually succumbed to FIV after 11 years.

I have a almost all white cat with a few splotches of diluted calico color. Her mom is black and white and grandma is calico, but dad is a Mackerel Tabby ❤️
My all white, blue eyed cat Lars is not deaf. So he must be that rare 20%> I didn't know that most were deaf. Crazzy
We had a white cat who a part of our family. He loved to roll around the kitchen floor. He really helped us see where the dirt was, a pretty good feature of a white cat.

My white cat meows so loudly but he's the sweetest thing. He's always been deaf since I got him.

Thank you again for posting these videos!
Thanks, Charles!

Oh and he loves belly rubs and cuddling
He does meow pretty loud
I have 2 golden eyed white cats, one male and one female, with single-colored eyes. Their momma, that crossed Rainbow Bridge last year, was a Calico cat. Both white cats are extremely vocal, especially the female. The male is the most intelligent cat that I've been blessed to own.
My pure bred all white rag doll is such a sweetheart.
Thanks for the video! My Jack is pure white, with green eyes, and definitely not deaf. He loves to be outside on his leash and having Adventures, but loves cuddle time with a warm blanket and a lap even more. ❤
I have a longhaired beautiful white cat with green eyes. She is our clown, the loudest pursuer and a very distinctive vocalization.
He is also prone to acne even though all vessels are ceramic and his diet is very healthy (no kibble and minimal treats that are grain free - I intend to keep him around for many more years)
My cat is black. He just showed up on day n moved in. He is my best friend.

My pure white persian cat is called Casper 😂 He is also grumpy at times, literally does walk around grunting 😂
I also have a fabulous pure-white, odd-eyed (blue + greenish) domestic shorthair grandcat named Schweppes. He is stone deaf in both ears and 100% charming. 😻♥️
Hello, love your videos❤. I had a tortie years ago, and she gave birth to 4 pure white kittens, 3 males and 1 female. None were deaf.
Aka charmy
Had some possum in live trap that Charmin would take his cat food to and drop outside of cage for possum to eat.
I just recently adopted a white cat. She's got yellow eyes and isn't deaf. She's quite a talkative girl, haha. Love her.
I had two indoor white cats (both deceased now) with copper eyes. They were both males (Frosty and Cooper) and lived to 16 and 17.
Casper was my white kitty's name too!!!
Casper is also my white cat’s name ❤
I love my two TAs. One is white and the other tiger striped and white. My first TA was all black and a stray that wound up in our yard, When he was diagnosed with kidney disease I had his DNA done and that's when I found out about the TA breed. Spooky was almost 100% TA.
I have an all-white shorthair cat with two blue eyes. He is not deaf. His name is Jasper and we adopted him in 2021. He’s very sweet. ❤
My white cats came from the same litter. One normal, one runt. Both completely white, blue eyes, and deaf.
I have a very fluffy white cat with blue eyes and he is so lucky I have perfect hearing in both sides ☺️
My Arthur has the spotty white. His 3/4 length tail, back of rear legs and spots on his head are ginger. He has beautiful amber eyes. His Daddy was a bobtail that's why his tail is weird but cute.
I have a white domestic, yellow eyes. Jinxy is beautiful and she did have black and white kittens.
My cat's dad was a white cat with blue eyes and a slight light grey streak down his head, like a mohawk.
cool
Ive seen a litter of mostly white and only one black kitten in it. I wanted that black kitten so bad.
We had a female with heterochromia (blue and green) and didn’t have any hearing issues.
snow babies!! I love my bunny boy that happens to be a cat :)
Love the way you describe them! ☃🐇
I have a Red point siamese cat, Odín ❤
Very interesting, thank you. 🐈⬛
IN THE BEGINNING WE HAD SIAMESE, AND SO MY WHITE CATS DESCENDED FROM THEM
"We are alla about cats" . Perfect!!
My old black cat Finney has disappeared for more than two weeks. We are sad but optimistic that he may find his way home.
Yes i have white cat with blue eyes
I was looking into adopting two kittens next year and thought it´d be cool if one ended up being a white one with blue eyes.. now I feel bad..
i have a short haired white cat that i adopted a few months ago, she has yellow eyes, playful and very smart!!! her instincts are amazing but she is not clingy at all haha
Thank you so much for the infos
I‘m from vietnam and I have 5 cats, a male white cat (8 ys old), a male siamese (also 8), two female tortoiseshells (both r 6 ys old) and a male tabby (5 ys old)
Could u please make videos about facts of Siamese cats?
My siamese ‘s having FLUTD (Feline lower urinary tract disease), for the third time. So his vet thinks of FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis)
I heard that FLUTD (or FIC) usually happens to Siamese cats. Is that true?
By the way could u tell me the difference between FLUTD and FIC?
And again, THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS!😊😊😊
I learned so much from this video. I had no idea that white cats can be deaf in regards to that particular gene. Fascinating. 😊
It really is fascinating! Glad you learned a thing or two!
Pov you came to this video after you petted a white cat
I have a white cat with one blue eye and one brown eye. She is blind due to Glaucoma but her hearing is fine - her favorite word is “treat” and her favorite phrase is “are you hungry?”
My 10 years boy is completly deaf, but probably the prettiest cat I've even seen.
All Cats Are Beautiful
I've witnesses two white cats who went deaf, one which didn't. It was sad as the deaf ones went missing over time.
Favorite name for a cat with different colored eyes: buttons
I have a white cat with blue eyes, he's not deaf...
really? so it's possible white cats not to be deaf? wow I wonder how rare that is
@@adamk-paxlogan7330Sucks I don't know mine isn't deaf, there is another withe cat in my neighborhood, (with flat hears) not deaf either...
i had a white cat with blue eyes and got him as a baby that was only about 2 weeks old.
I have an all white cat who as a kitten had a grey streak on her head, as she has gotten older (she's 3 now) it's fading away.
Yes, that's common!
Hi,dear❤! I have a white Sibirian male cat.Hr is 5 months old and he can hear very well...sometimes he seems to be deaf...but when i rattle with his feeding bowl, he hears it 😂
whet about a cat who is white with a few spots as kittens and grow up and the spots disappear with yellow eyes
My white cat has two different color eyes and is deaf.
One gold eye and one green eye. She’s completely deaf. I had a question about why would they still meow?
I have a 7 month old white kitten with a very small faint dot of gray on his head. Bright blue eyes, and is 100% deaf.
