He may or not be the best player if you consider his peak. But he is absolutely the most impactful player. He had a huge impact on defining the meta early on. The fact that he overcame adversity, and also how many people (fans) he bought into the game has significantly helped the growth and popularity of the game. He is personally my favourite all time player. But if I had to vote for the best over all player I would have to say Forsaken just because how diverse his agent pool is. The guy is elite on every single agent and role. Which is mind-blowing.
TenZ is like the Ninja of Valorant imo, he's one if not the person that people look up to when it comes to Valorant, just like Ninja was for fortnite he isnt just a great player, but he kinda made the game really popular and is just a great person to look up to, very humble person.
TenZ we know why you retired but man do we miss you. You inspired so many people to grind the game to get better. Thank you for always showing us what greatness was as a duelist. If u ever see this, thank you.
I got into this game not cause my brother told me to but cause I heard him talking about tenz and all my friends even those that never did play valorant talked about tenz at some point I was like surely he isn't that good but man the first time I saw him play I was mesmerised I have never been into the esport scene but man I have watched every single match he played in I wake up at 3 if it means he is playing and since he retired I haven't even opened up a valo stream
they relied on TenZ to win games? The audacity of whoever scripted the video man. The amount of times SicK and Dapr has held down entire sites solo/duo against 5 man rushes is insane. Sick Dapr and Zombs are the reason I played support agents instead of instalocking duelists. They made Cypher, Viper and KJ look cool. The only somewhat bad screw in the team was Shazam because he somehow didnt fit in, he too is a good player otherwise as a solo person. Gotta give the credits to NON-FLASHY agent players where they deserve it.
I mean think about it… overall, tenz is one of the foundations of valorant gameplay. His last season definitely proved that his legacy was formed and he knows that its time to kind of step down because of that formed legacy.

A thought came to mind; is it possible that there "was more damage in the game" at that point in time? Concerning the way ACS was calculated, unbalanced abilities or more healing/resurrection, etc... Any of these could lead to higher ACS and if changes were made, ACS then and now would not be directly comparable. Now please don't take this as me being upset at TenZ' record, I simply lack the historical insight into these events and the gamestates because I have only been into Valorant for about a year :) Please share your knowledge with me! They don't have a REAL COACHING STAFF until Franchising. (2021-2023). others are placeholder/filler. if only sentinels provide it early and not cheap out with Kaplan buyout. The problem with TenZ is that he has a 2/3 months incredible peak in 2021, than he has a true downfall and almost dont play until 2024 with again a 2/3 month peak thats followed by a ok year and his retirement, TenZ isnt a bad player, but considering him the "GOAT" is an offense to players like yay, derke and aspas (probably the goat most analists agree), that are players that had consistency at least beyond one season

@inuis3024he had one of the highest assists for controller for both the NA and international leagues
@ if you have a top 3 duelist on your team then getting assists is pretty easy
