Does anybody know what year John Deere started using that flat axle shaft in the depth adjustment to help with greasing?

We have heard from a few growers (who re-used the same RH and LH spindle nuts) and they told us some nuts worked loose in the field despite being torqued to +\- 190 ft-lb. So, we now recommend adding Loc-Tite to the threads of the spindle threads to stop the nuts coming loose.
