HI EVERYONE!!! I am so excited about this video!!! Firstly I just want to thank Vest for doing such a good job with the green screen - we had some major challenges in this one and he pulled it off anyway, I'm so happy with how it turned out! c:
I wanted to make this video since I was thinking about what would go well with a video sponsored by a language learning app... :D (Which, by the way, I've been continuing to do lessons in the last few weeks since I've filmed this, and I am still absolutely loving it!) Cue INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT OF COURSE!! Flying/traveling actually is inherently so stressful to me so I hope that this type of video can help calm those who have a similar experience - or be enjoyable to those who love flying....... I'm jealous. Haha!

@@Adroyo yeah but its taxi-ing to the runway when you start! even though there's no turbulence, it can still be a bit of a challenge! not to mention its often before the aircon is working properly so it can be super hot/cold. like again, it's not HARD, I just wish I could have done it as well as she does. im unsure why you're somewhat negative about this with me.

I love how when Gibi asks for options, she doesn't specify which one we pick. For example she asks "Which one would you like?" then she says "Okay perfect" and no matter what someone picks, it seems really interactive. Also love the attention to detail with the airplane cups! :) Thanks so much for the relaxation and content you provide for us

this was the norm in like 2019 and i loved it but then everyone went back to specifying. i hope this inspires a resurgence. If you like that Angelica is usually good with that, but the last year or so shes been specifying more often so go for older videos

Before covid me and my family used to fly to China to visit our other family members every year. Something I sadly haven't been able to do ever since covid and also since I started university.
I usually hate the flights but not having experienced them for so long made me almost miss them in a way as well.
So this video feels very comforting to me in a way. Because I can at least get a similar-esque feeling of flying to visit my grandmother again.

Gibi's Flight Attendant uniform and hand signals, the on-board public flight announcements to the passengers and all the interactions with the viewer, the realistic lighting, airplane audio/sounds and green screen backgrounds, literally everything was perfect in this video, very well done to both Gibi and Vest 😎.

She ripped this idea off from latte ASMR. Latte even has the windows get darker as the video goes on. Trend that this person jumped on, hardly award worthy (esp considering the lengthy ad segment at the start)

Fun fact: Most aeroplanes have above head “cabins” for the crew to sleep/rest in during flights, that’s why you might not see a specific crew member for a certain amount of time, they’re probably up there! (My mom is a Flight Attendant so I get all this information from her, don’t worry, it’s the real stuff)
This is true! I didn’t know about this until a recent international overnight flight. Our crew members were really friendly and I was chatting with one while I waited for the bathroom and he opened the adjacent door to show me the stairs to their sleeping bunks!

During the opening with the safety demo, since you can see Gibi doing the demonstration but you can also hear her speaking, I started imagining that this airline/airplane is crewed by a dozen Gibi clones. Sounds very comfy, but I hope she knows how to fly a plane

i don’t even have any allergies but the consciousness of allergens is so comforting idk why 😭 i know it’s really scary traveling with allergies for you gibi, so i can imagine how nice it would be to hear those words from a flight attendant!!!
I had the same reaction. The entire video was so soothing but that part was especially comforting. I wish actual airlines (or anywhere...) took food allergies so seriously, but especially when you're unable to quickly get full medical help if something goes wrong

I grew up abroad because of my parents' jobs and we took the plane several times a year, to visit family during holidays. I have so many memories of waiting at the airport, being excited, buying comic books, night flights, I associated that with childhood, holidays and happy moments.
So now, when I hear that background "white noise" I feel like that moment in the movie Ratatouille when the food critic is transported to when he was a kid 😂

this video is making me miss traveling 😭 (of course i never get the best experiment cause i have motion sickness- but getting the different types of food, playing games or watching movies on the screens, and just the vibes of being on an airplane. Being in the airport can be stressful for families, but i honestly love seeing all the different types of people and just being able to go all around the airport. ➡️ I remember at one time in an airport, there was a big line after our flight to go somewhere, but a worker said there’s another line in another place in the airport. So we were searching for that place and we were literally running across an empty airport and it was so fun! Just running across the big halls😄 of course it was a little stressful to find the location, but traveling is just a VIBE ✨✨

I would get the calming tea on that international overnight flight myself.
The background noise is very relaxing. I often listen to asmr because there is noise. I’m not a big fan of asmr such as no talking videos or just not roleplays. It’s as if someone is interacting with me whilst helping me go to sleep. This video was very relaxing, so thank you Gibi.

What a perfect coincidence! I just had the realization a few hours ago that a preflight safety demo was likely my earliest real-life ASMR experience, and then I go to wind down and find this is tonight's upload. And it's just as effective as it was back then!
Now this is how you use a green screen. I've watched this video so many times and didn't notice its a green screen during the safety speech at the beginning. Excellent use of the green screen by immersing yourself in it, looks realistic, especially when trying to fall asleep. This is what ive been wanting to see when people use green screens, looking like they are apart of the environment, not just a boring background behind them.
Thank you, Gibi, for this relaxing roleplay. I watched your first flight experience from years ago over and over and over. I'm so glad you did another one. Something about that background cabin white noise just makes me melt into the reclliner. It would be such a pleasure to have this much personal attention on a flight, but you are the BEST at giving us the experience. When I have my headphones on, eyes closed and a big smile on my face, my family knows I'm in my happy place!

There was a similar video a few years ago from her but this has more attention to detail for sure..took me a few times to get through it because I did get to sleep. ASMR videos are the only ones where it's a compliment that you fell asleep before it was over 😂

I literally got off a plane less than 12 hours before watching this, safety briefing was soooo good. And ben being the pilot was a cute touch.
the safety demonstration was ON POINT. I travel a lot and the pov of the passenger, the movements of the cabin crew member in addition to the typical background engine noise you can hear in every flight, create the EXACT VIBE and excitement you get every time you are about to takeoff! This is easily one of my favorites ASMR videos of all time 🤩

I had a really painful birthday (I wouldn’t say bad because I got to have some fun and i’m grateful for that) and i’m really grateful for this video from the bottom of my heart.
